A current Centers for Disease Control (CDC) senior scientist has made an unprecedented admission: he and his colleagues--he says-- committed scientific misconduct to cover up a meaningful link between vaccines and autism in black boys.
Just as startling, the CDC scientist, Dr. William Thompson, says the study co-authors "scheduled a meeting to destroy documents related to the study. The remaining four co-authors all met and brought a big garbage can into the meeting room, and reviewed and went through all the hardcopy documents that we had thought we should discard, and put them into a huge garbage can."

Despite this whistleblower testimony, which Dr. Thompson provided to Rep. Bill Posey, R-Florida, there is little chance of a meaningful hearing or investigation.
In an untainted news environment, the allegations would make headlines in most legitimate publications and would trigger federal inquiries. However, the interests of the powerful pharmaceutical industry reach deeply into Congress and the news media through lobbyists, propaganda and advertising dollars.
"The omitted data suggested that African American males who received the MMR vaccine before age 36 months were at increased risk for autism." --CDC Senior Scientist Dr. William Thompson

and do all the amazing research for Qanon and pals.
Something we knew all along. So how does one go about telling others when we’ve been banned from social media?
We swear, despite doctors denials, our youngest is on the very low end of the spectrum not long after a flu shot for pre-school. Substantial personality change not long after.
Just think of how many studies showing second hand smoke is harmless got tossed.
“So how does one go about telling others when we’ve been banned from social media?”
Whatever was used before the advent of social media, which hasn’t been around all that long.
The autism rate has skyrocketed worldwide beginning in the 1990s. It was almost unheard of 50 years ago, with most of those cases being severe. Scientists who have reviewed the literature have come to the conclusion that only 20%-30% of the increase can be attributed to people having children at an older age or better vigilance in screening and diagnosis. It is widely held to be a genetic condition.
However as a scientist myself I must ask is there any time in the history of life on earth when there has been a genetic epidemic? No.
But changes in the environment can be detrimental to populations. For example the passenger pigeon had nothing wrong with its DNA. They just couldn’t cope with the introduction of shotguns. They flew in tight formations making easy targets.
Something in our environment changed starting in the 1990s. Some individuals seem to be more sensitive to this change.

The glaring in-your-face correlation for autism is maternal obesity which it tracks as an almost right on top overlay from the inception of removing fat and making food/snacks “savory” with sugar and the beginning of the welfare state.
Correlation isn’t causation, but as Denninger quips, it sure as hell points to where the research money should go...
I would like to see that analysis.
It seems obvious to me when you radically change the definition of a condition to include a much wider range of symptoms, you are going to have a huge increase in the number of people diagnosed as having the condition.

Fascinating. Of course there are multiple things that correlate with maternal obesity: lack of exercise, lack of a man in the house, enormous decrease in relative cost of food. Lack of a sense of worth because of a lack of meaningful work.

Interesting!
A lot of this is because we are issuing this diagnosis more than we used to. And, we have found other forms of it that we didn't know existed. My wife is a diagnostician in public school, and they will diagnose any low-performing kid with anything they can think of to keep the money coming in.
Just remember that the rooster crowing doesn't cause the sun to rise.

What a mess
I’m acquainted with several obese women who have more than 8 children; one has 16, all her biological offspring. They’re all ok. You can blame sugar for a lot of things; have at it. But injecting undeveloped immune systems with multiple, varied substances is not a smart idea and probably less safe than a shot of sugar.
