Nothing in that article explains what causes Autism
I found Government is working on ways to stop inflammation of the brain caused by vaccines while claiming it's no big deal. To be clear all Vaccines has Interleukin-1 (IL-1) which is a highly active pro-inflammatory. Inflammation of the brain is what causes autism that was shown years ago

Palmitoylethanolamide is an excellent anti-neuroinflammatory.

The glaring in-your-face correlation for autism is maternal obesity which it tracks as an almost right on top overlay from the inception of removing fat and making food/snacks “savory” with sugar and the beginning of the welfare state.

Correlation isn’t causation, but as Denninger quips, it sure as hell points to where the research money should go...

A few years ago I had a conversation with Sharyl Attkisson on Twitter about Autism/Aspergers and the cause. She must have some form of it in her family. I do in mine, something like Asperger’s.

We both agreed that it is hereditary and that something in our surroundings affects the severity of the response to individuals.

This is a pretty good short explanation:

(the author is a sufferer)

My son had a form of it, he was born in New Mexico in a mining town. Heavy minerals and metals are/were present in the soil and water there.
