Correlation isn’t causation, but as Denninger quips, it sure as hell points to where the research money should go...

Fascinating. Of course there are multiple things that correlate with maternal obesity: lack of exercise, lack of a man in the house, enormous decrease in relative cost of food. Lack of a sense of worth because of a lack of meaningful work.

I’m acquainted with several obese women who have more than 8 children; one has 16, all her biological offspring. They’re all ok. You can blame sugar for a lot of things; have at it. But injecting undeveloped immune systems with multiple, varied substances is not a smart idea and probably less safe than a shot of sugar.

What makes you believe that? From all the studies I've seen it's caused by pressure in the brain. Fats does create higher blood pressure though I don't believe that isn't enough for this type of damage.
