Everybody has empty shelves now. Next to impossible to find primers. (and some of the off shore sources were dried up. suspect exchange rate issues.)

This thought can not be overemphasized. A scraggly bearded person sitting in Prime Minister Pelosi’s chair, right there in her sanctified boudoir, has her and her sycophant’s scared #witless.

The market sell-off probably had more to do with people figuring out that Biden is going to pursue extreme, far left policies that absolutely crush the economy than anything else.
They’re blaming some of it on the whole Reddit thing, but “Come On, Man!”..a bunch of kids posting in a Reddit chatroom is not gonna move the billions of dollars of stock trades that we’ve seen on Gamestop and other highly shorted stocks. More likely, it’s an internal hedge fund war between “real” big money and the Reddit kids are just a convenient excuse/cover story.
I’m watching the 50 day moving average on the S&P 500, and we ain’t far from it. Once that breaks, we could see a sell-off really accelerate, just based on algorithmic machine trading that watches those sorts of things and then acts. CAPE 10 is still extremely high (roughly 2nd highest in history), so valuations are crazy. Probably a combination of “Biden’s a radical and is going to crush the economy” combined with “holy crap, stocks are insanely valued”. Neither of those is ever good..
Most Wall Street “experts” are predicting anywhere from 7 - 10 or even higher % gains this year, but I’m not confident in that whatsoever..I think Biden’s going to be a DISASTER for the market and we’ll be lucky to end the year at the levels we are now..
The short squeeze against the hedgers reveals that there is a vulnerability in the market, that it is not as stable as it appears. Granted, this escapade is basically just financial vandalism; but it is very unnerving to any major player, who seeks stability and predictability more than anything else. Given the existing uncertainties about the economy generally, it may be the spark that ignites a major sell off.
I have sympathy for the reddit crew...the hedge funds have been getting away with a lot for a long time and no one stopped them.
Today various brokers have shut down trading on GME, NOK, AMC, and a couple of others. But did anyone stop the naked shorts?

I read that on one of the ratings/comments.. The pic itself has US/North American style adapter, but will find out when it gets here; I do have an EU/US adapter, as long as it will accept 120v. If not, I will have to get another adapter.
