Donald Trump spent his last moments as President sad and alone, according to Jim Acosta, who led CNN's coverage of Trump during his presidency.
In his farewell to Washington on Wednesday morning, Trump greeted a small crowd of about 200 at Joint Base Andrews before he boarded Air Force One with family and the press, including Acosta.
"It was sort of a sad and pathetic sight," Acosta told CNN's Chief Media Correspondent Brian Stelter on "Reliable Sources" on Sunday. "I've never seen him this alone the entire time he was at the level of presidential politics."

Acosta isn’t even a discrete packet of anything.
This is good. Acosta and his ilk are falling into a classic Art of War trap.

Poor Trump, all alone except for the 70 million who voted for him in 2020.
Acosta is too stupid to know it, but Joint Base Andrews is active. It is not a tourist attraction. Members of the public can't just stroll on to the base. All visitors are thoroughly screened and must have a valid Point of Contact.
Most MAGA folks are smart enough to know that already. Any other venue and there would have been tens of thousands for the thank you send off for President Trump. As it turned out, tens of thousands of people lined the streets of Palm Beach welcoming their President home.
What Little Jimmy doesn’t want to admit is that he owes his career advancement to President Trump. He was NOTHING without Trump!! He will be NOTHING without Trump in the White House.
And Little Jimmy is going back to being a nothing nobody again on a fake news channel with terrible ratings. Poor Little Jimmy.
