The eastern state of Saxony, where hospitals have been struggling to cope with one of the worst coronavirus outbreaks in the country, has confirmed plans to hold quarantine breakers in a fenced off section of a refugee camp.
Saxony is set to construct the centre next week. The regional state has stressed that the facility will only be used for people who have repeatedly broken the rules around quarantine even after facing financial penalties.
Three further states - Baden-Württemberg, Brandenburg and Schleswig-Holstein - have also either already created such facilities or are in the process of doing so, a report in Sunday’s edition of Welt newspaper stated.

The approach I noticed when there was there was hanging victim cards from the ceiling with a picture and a label from the ceiling. There was a picture of a Jew with a description that these people were thrown in the camp. There was a card for Gypsies, gays, lesbians, handicapped, old, unemployed, political opponents (such as Communist or socialist), newspapermen, etc. You could go around and find some card you could identify with and say to yourself, see, I would have been persecuted by the Nazi’s (equated with right wing as I recall) as well and feel good about yourself. The problem was in the early 30’s the primary political opponent was the Communists and they were as bad as the Nazis. Also, the distribution of pictures minimized the Jews as the primary victims. It was modern politically correct for the left wing, German style.
It’s not that Germans are particularly evil. It’s just that they are particularly efficient, no matter whether they’re doing evil or just building cars.

State of Saxony (state around Dresden, former DDR). CDU runs government but lot of radicals, anti-Covid people, revolutionies, etc...in the state. Safe that this region thinks in a different way.
Add to it, only state discussing this, rest of them...15...won’t go to this extreme. If they get real serious, would just trigger confrontations.

Completely random, but I became very good friends with a German/NATO pilot for the better part of a decade. He had been to Israel repeatedly and was amazed at the progress and the people.
One day he got very drunk, the avoided topic of the Shoa/WWII came up and he basically said the only mistake the Germans made was targeting the Jewish people — we were very smart and there is a unique combination of German and Jewish that is amazingly brilliant and efficient — and we could have taken over the entire world.
I chalked it up to alcohol, but kept my distance, thereafter.
At one time I wondered how did Dachau and the other concentration camps happen in a highly educated 1st world country like Germany, then you look at what is happening today and you realize exactly how it can happen...
Not saying we will have concentration camps but if you listen to the rhetoric from liberals today, it’s eerily reminiscent of the 1930s in Germany....
Change a few of the groups who are in disfavor and it’s remarkably similar...
Futhermore, they do it by convincing people that they stopped their enemies from doing the same thing.
The way society is today makes WWII (European theater) fought in vain and a tremendous waste of American blood and treasure.
Remember Hitler convinced people that the Jews were the source of all the German Problems....sounds similar to how the left refers to the right today...
Then Hitler convinced the German Public that Jews were subhuman nothing more than human cockroaches who should be destroyed to keep them from spreading their dangerous ideology....again similar to today...
I rarely listen to Glenn Beck, but he was on with Dave Rubin the other day and was making the comparison between Jews from the 1930s and the Right today....
Originally the Germans walled off Jews into their own Ghettos..Beck’s point was the left was trying to do that today on the Internet, isolate the right and keep them from circulating among the public, basically he was saying we are starting to experience a Digital Ghetto
The irony being, the German Jews were the last to be gassed, they were still in Berlin as late as 1943, and were not forced into Ghettos.
There’s a good movie called “The Train to Auschwitz” that shows the last Berliner Jews being sent to Auschwitz.
Well, they did lose a lot of great scientists and engineers when Jews started fleeing Germany even before the war. If not for that, they might have built the bomb before we did. So I can see what he meant from a strategic perspective, but that’s certainly not the “only mistake” they made.
The troubling part is how really mainstream it’s getting..
The military especially is getting frightening, I read where General Stanley McChrystal was comparing Trump and his followers to Bin Laden and Al Qaeda....a strong leader with followers who never questioned the reason why they were doing certain thing and were believing a lie...
I believe he’s the tip of the iceberg, at some point the military is political and only those who are “woke” make it to the very top...which is scary for any number of reasons...

I remember reading that in the Soviet Union, a party member sat outside the church keeping track of who entered. Those who entered were denied admittance to the best schools and job offers.
It has been a long time since an evangelical Christian has been on the Supreme Court. I suspect there are very few admitted at Harvard or Yale law school. If you don’t support LBGT rights or causes you won’t obtain a promotion at many corporations. None of this is announced, but it exists.
Re-education camps won’t exist, but our kids and grandkids will be stigmatized if they don’t go along with government all in the name of “science” and “equality”.
Comments sections on articles are being removed, and non-approved articles are not allowed. They have banned people on social media, it won’t be long until it is emails and text messages as well. I guess it isn’t concentration camps, but I can see them making people with certain viewpoints very isolated, almost non-existent, other than face to face discussions. But they have to protect people from undesirable viewpoints.
I am glad, God is in charge. At some point he will interject. Maybe not in my lifetime, but it will happen.
In the new congress 88% identify as Christian, versus 65% of adults in the US. I wonder what God’s statistics are?
