Former Attorney General William Barr says President Donald Trump’s conduct as a violent mob of his supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol was a “betrayal of his office and supporters.”
In a statement to The Associated Press, Barr said Thursday that “orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable.”
Barr was one of Trump’s most loyal and ardent defenders in the Cabinet.

Trump wanted a demonstration of first amendment rights, something afforded to everyone else. Trump never said to storm the capitol building and Barr knows it.

For a long time I prudently avoided commenting about Barr, and now I don’t have to, his own words convict him.
Without Barr on board none of the left’s plans could have worked out. He is a traitor to freedom, liberty, and the United States.
Just makes my brain spin how Trump ever picked him and even still has decent things to say about him. Please skip the ‘Trump had to pick who McConnell’ would approve of. Trump needed to make a stand right then. We had no law enforcement for Trump’s 4 years. And we now see the fruits of that horrendous mistake.
Oh blah blah blah. You never hear any Democrat resigning over Antifa/Left Wing riots.
Until Republicans lose their desire to go climb up on a cross and play martyr, they will remain a bunch of losers. Which means they will remain a bunch of losers. My BFF has a great analogy:

Like some sort of primitive in the wilds, whatever helps him get what he wants is good, and whatever keeps him from getting what he wants is bad. It is as simple as that. Democrats, and Bad Wrestlers, are complete sociopaths.”
That describes the Democrats. But how do you describe Republicans, who do not realize that they have to pick up a folding metal chair and strike back??? And that the action is justified.

Barr just shows another example of what happens when people spend too much time in government. No one, at any level of government, should be employed by taxpayers for longer than 12 years. (That allows two terms for senators). This should even apply to the dog catcher. No pensions. No lush salaries. No job security.
LOL. These swamp clowns don’t get it. The GOP is going to pay a heavy price when millions of Trumpers hold the party as an institution accountable at the ballot box for this bipartisan coup. Frankly, it’s hard to see hoow the GOP is going to be able to even function in Trump country once the steal is completed. These swampers think they can sit in the beltway sewer and manage things. They are sadly mistaken.
