Yes, indeed. Part of the fraud was Mitch caring for the American people and loyalty to Trump — and that fraud was exposed for all to see. The RINOS have sealing their fate. It could have been so different with win, win, win if they supported Trump. People are also walking away from the crap and attitude they see in the GOP.
The thing is. Mitch isn't a stupid man. So the question is why did he do it? There is line of thinking I've seen mentioned on some of the political blogs that he actually WANTED to lose the Senate for tactical reason. The theory goes that Mitch knew that Republicans would get the blame for everything if they held the Senate. Now democrats have no excuses, every problem in the country now falls into their lap. The thing is, even though democrats control the Senate with the VP vote, the left will likely be very dissapointed once the hangover wears off because certain moderate democrat senators like Joe Manchin have already hinted they aren't going to touch doing away with the filibuster, packing the courts or any of the other liberal dream list items. So in the end a 50-50 senate won't look all that different from a 51-49 Republican majority....except now democrats will get all the blame when they can't accomplish anything.
I’m not going to shame you. I double my contributions to charity early last year (from about 10% of my income to about 20%), because people were hurting unnecessarily due to all the government malfeasance. It’s also why Mitch had a tin ear with his “socialism for the rich” blather.
(Really, doesn’t all socialism benefit a wealthy few, anyhow?)
I scaled it back to 15% after the election, in the hopes a recovering economy under Trump could pick up the slack. Now after January 20, I’m scaling it back to 10% - what the Lord wants from me, at least - since lots of people seem to prefer a big, paternalistic government*, even though such is ruining your life and many other lives.
So, in summary, I have no problem with you and lots of other people getting $2000 checks. It’s only the beginning of paying you back.
*Yes, I’m aware there was lots of fraud, but there are still lots of people who prefer to have distant morons running their lives.
Manchin will be willing to stop the more radical agendas until the MSM suddenly becomes awash in stories about how his connection to his daughter’s pharmaceutical company caused the price of her Epi-Pens to skyrocket to $600 dollars a pop.

Part of me is glad the GOP lost. Trump was right - the GOP has a death-wish. When Mitch refused to knock the $2,000 softball out of the park, GOP Senators should have gone to his offices and roughed him up a little, and slapped him around some. It was just that obvious that he had just doomed the two folks running in Georgia. But, they didn’t and now they, and the country, will pay the price. On the bright side, Mitch is kaput politically, the stupid twerp.

Perhaps, but I honestly don't think Manchin cares. The left threw all that at him during both the democrat primary in 2018 (ran ads on the $600 epipen non-stop), And Manchin just grabbed his shotgun jumped into his pick up truck and said to pay no attention to the slick big city ads. And he was correct, nobody in West Virginia cared and he was reelected by a comfortable margin.
Manchin knows the only way he can keep winning in hard red West Virginia is to play the part of a conservative democrat. Now is he REALLY a conservative at heart. I kind of have my doubts, I have a feeling if he thought he could go left and still get reelected he probably would. The shotgun and pickup only come out at election time, the rest of his term he's sailing with Chuck Schumer on his private yacht he bought with that Epi-Pen money.

China Mitch is a natural born minority leader. He was only ever leader because he let the Senate mavericks roam at will. A very weak “leader” despite the talk of his cheerleaders.

The original bill had nothing for main street while swamp lobbyist connected defense contractors got paid. China Mitch was playing swamp games and got burned. Now all his lieutenants lose their committee chairs. Whooops.

Ditto that! And there in rests the issue. Most of the midwest, not large cities, we can get by on a paltry $2000 a month. That’s not hard money to make, but we’ve got to have access to the work
I have never received a child credit for my children, a refund in almost 20 years or a single cent in “stimulus”... those that do are on welfare.
Same thing happened to me. I’m disabled & can only work part time. I still couldn’t make ends meet but I survived. I was laid off last July & I am sinking fast-every way possible.
Will 2000$ help? Sure.Do I feel guilty for taking it? Yes. But for the love of God OPEN UP BUSINESSES SO I CAN GET A FUC%ING JOB !! I’m too old for this shit!
