At 10 AM on Monday, January 5, 1959, I swore this oath on entering the United States Marine Corps:
"I do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God."
That oath has no expiration date and is good for everything, up to and including my life. Our country calls upon us once more to defend her.

My oath was 12 Oct 1988. While I did get a DD-214, and an EOS ( End of Obligated Service ), that oath as far as I remember does not have an expiration.

Even in 2004, specifically shows aversion to communists!
I’d love to make such an oath.
Target ID in such a difficult time is going to be an issue.
They will not all swarm out like antifarts.
Yes.
Except of course, REPUBLICANS will be blamed. It will not just be EverTrumpers and Trump. If it has an R by the name, media and their Dem lords will attack all Republicans, conservatives, whatever you want to call them.
While they continue to ignore then deny the riots they’ve encouraged for months on end.
Guaranteed.
Amen brother, I took the same oath in 1963, spent 1965 and 1966 in ‘Nam upholding it, and am ready to do it again!

Still keeping the Oath!
I took the oath on 11JUL1969 at FT SILL, OK with about 50 other persons.
FYI, I agree 100% with the Navaho Elders & a group of WWII Navaho Code Talkers who stated to President Ronald W. Reagan in 1983 that, “Mr. President, I am named Wilson H. Begay & I have been selected by our group gathered here to speak for us all. Neither you NOR any other living human can release us from the sacred oath that ALL US service-members took, as that oath was made to the Supreme of the Supreme, by whatever name that you may call Man Above or by whatever you hold most holy.” (PAUSE) “We GIs thank you most sincerely, for your kind offer but we must politely refuse your offer as the President of the USA & as the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces, to release us from our oath at each of us took. You simply do not have the power to release us from the oath.”

My younger (son) swore in March 2, 2012 USAF
Sadly under Obozo, but personally saw the military change for the better under President Trump these last four wonderful years.
He just started a full time job with the AF. With the Demonrats in power, not sure how long it will last; he and DIL are expecting their first child in a few months.
