Portuguese Nurse Dies Suddenly After Receiving Pfizer's COVID-19 Vaccine

The latest suspicious death to occur days (or, in some cases, even hours) after a patient received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine has surfaced in Portugal, where a pediatric surgery assistant in Porto (who was reportedly in “perfect health” when she received her first dose of the Pfizer vaccine) has died suddenly.

Health authorities are investigating the death. Meanwhile, scientists from around the world continue to criticize the European Union for its comparatively sluggish vaccine rollout, which only began on an emergency basis little more than one week ago.

The patient was identified on Monday as Sonia Azevedo, 41, a mother of two who worked as a surgical assistant at the Instituto Portugues de Oncologia, a cancer hospital in Porto. She was among the 538 healthcare workers at IPO who received their first dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine last Wednesday. Azevedo had dinner with her family on New Year’s Eve, but was found dead in her bed the following morning.

Now her family members are demanding answers about the circumstances of her death, RT reports.

“I want to know what caused my daughter’s death” her father Abilio told the Portuguese tabloid Orreio da Manha. He described her as a “well and happy” person who “never drank alcohol, didn’t eat anything special or out of the ordinary.”

Azevedo was so proud to be among the first to receive the vaccine, she changed her Facebook profile picture to reflect that. “Covid-19 vaccinated,” she wrote under a selfie with her face mask on. “We don’t know what happened.

It all happened quickly and with no explanation,” Azevedo’s daughter Vania Figueiredo told the paper. “I didn’t notice anything different in my mother. She was fine. She just said that the area where she had been vaccinated hurt, but that’s normal…”

Portugal, which has a population of around 10 million, has so far reported more than 427K cases and over 7.1K deaths due to COVID. While Germany is leading the EU in vaccinations, Portugal is lagging behind even Argentina, according to data provided by Bloomberg.

What they don’t tell you is that many among the first wave of individuals designated to receive the vaccine have been turning it down, including many health care workers like Azevedo.

One person dies out of how many took the shot? People do die all the time. Beware the post hoc ergo propter hoc fallacy, ie, an informal fallacy that states: “Since event Y followed event X, event Y must have been caused by event X.” It is often shortened simply to post hoc fallacy.

You vaccinate millions of people.
Some, a very small number, will probably die from the vaccine - after all you’re injecting a piece of alien protein into them. All sorts of interesting possibilities there.
But, with millions of recipients, it is statistically certain that some of them die from unrelated causes shorting have to receiving the vaccine.

Death happens in all sorts of interesting ways.

Life goes on.

An increasing number of people are either atheist or agnostic. They don't believe in an afterlife and so this is their one and only life. Anything that has a chance to kill them is a risk they are not willing to take.

Hence the large percentage of people who have caved to the lockdowns and mask mandates.

Hence why lots of people will refuse to take the vaccine regardless of whether or not it is a fallacy.

People have died suddenly from Polio vaccine, TB vaccine, even the Flu vaccine.

But reason people are advised to take the risk of vaccine id because 99% people benefit from it.

People die suddenly from auto accidents as well. But we don’t all stop driving because there is a chance we could die. Human life is never 100% safe. From stone age to modern age, people have died suddenly from many causes.

I love (”love” means “hate”) it when our shark-jumpers never ask any other questions - like was an autopsy performed that also validated her Perfect health” status...

I’m reminded of athletes in their teens and early 20s that suddenly die because the first symptom of the attack that kills them is usually their death.

Not having a history does not always mean “perfect health”.

Of course, we also heard about the 75 year old Israeli guy that died shortly after receiving the vaccine - with the long history of respiratory/heart troubles including previous heart attacks (plural).

I plan on passing on the vaccine, but find it “ill considered” to jump on every event as if the same events don’t still occur even with long-proven vaccines because of the diversity the systems/conditions of those who receive them.

BUT , a virus such as this flu labled covid mutates and is not an afixed strain of disease ....how is it you NOW believe that a shot can hit a moving target....do you get yearly flu shots?....I never have and never will. If ONE person dies out of the first, say, few hundred thousand, and that person did not have any bad habits or known co-morbidities, as was the case here, then that is one too many, and every new person to submit to the vaccine has every reason to believe they will be #2 in a second wave of victims.This would be the equivalent of Russian Roulette played with an enormously large chamber. We are now talking about the Covid-19 vaccine in the same exact way that we’ve been talking about the Corona-virus itself, to justify the draconian lockdowns. It will prove to be a BIG mistake,as I thought at the beginning. Every death story like this one will exponentially increase the resistance to its further roll-out over the year 2020. Even WITH the vaccine NOT causing deaths, there’s no assurance it will prevent anyone from “contracting” the Covid-19-—that entire area is a vast propaganda wasteland just waiting for more lies, obfuscation, and strong-arm tactics. It is doomed to a righteous and rightful failure.
