A text based forum is a bad fit for some. Whether through stupidity or carelessness, the result is the same. BTW, a typo is when you know the right word, but it comes out sideways through a mechanical error. That’s not what you did. Try to pay attention.

At this point it seems to me that secession has already happened.
It is a lot like the married couple that is no longer living together, but they haven’t gotten divorced yet… Even after many years of living apart.
With a secession you end up with two independent countries. It's a creative process, like cell division.
By declaring sanctuary and abrogating federal laws, California has already seceded and is in fact, not America any more

Agree in general, but seems that the genes left behind are undesirable (e.g., apolitical, amoral, un-Constitutional, anti-religious, etc.). Let’s just say the bad genes are not what our Founding Fathers wanted to continue on.

Excellent point! Notice the speaker talks about other examples of secession without a blood cost. Think Brexit and Czechoslovakia. Immediately after that discussion, he addresses our civil war in 1861. He has some interesting and probably correct thoughts about that war. You can jump to about the 8 mn mark on the timeline for that discussion.
