It's official: North American box office revenue plummeted 80 percent in 2020 amid the novel coronavirus pandemic and unprecedented theater closures, while global revenue tumbled more than 70 percent.

Consider the current movies. We went to watch Monster Hunter last night. DISAPPOINTING!!! Nothing like the trailer, the acting was horrific, and the overall movie even worse. This is a modern version of an old B movie, probably a candidate for the SciFi mystery theatre with beer.

Hollywood made a number of good movies in years past. 1939 is one example of a great year for movies.
Will this will bring back or reopen drive in theaters? Might just do so.

80 percent drop sounds about right. There were only two “normal” months in 2020, with the last 10 months seeing theaters shutdown in many places.
The only way to lure theater goers back will be true R rated movies with full frontal nipple nudity againn, with all the hot young starlets on display.
No more wrinkled 90s chicks pretending to be young.
We want new on display, and we want nipple.
Thats the deal, take it or leave it Hollywood.
Now that Endgame has concluded, there is nothing that I want to see.
