I am asking for prayers for my sweet friend Beth. She was recently diagnosed with early stages of dementia. Beth was a tremendous source of strength and courage for me when I lost my mother to cancer back in 1997. I tried to help her as she watched her own mother languish for several years as dementia took her piece by piece. Beth worked with my husband for over 20 years until recently when she had to retire due to "episodes" brought on by the same disease that took her mom. For Christmas, I made her what I hoped was a special gift. She had given me pieces of her mom's formal china because I had the exact same pattern- from my late grandmother. Knowing Beth loved birds as much as I do I made her a bird feeder out of a cup and saucer from her mom's china. I was not prepared for what happened after she received it. Last night I got a very emotional call from Beth thanking me for the gift. She said it brought back loving memories of her mom, some of which she had long forgotten. I am so thankful God used me to bring some happiness into her life. I have never, ever, felt the significance of an act of kindness like I did last night. Knowing I brought peace and love into someones heart was an experience I know came straight from God.
Beautiful story…praying for Beth🙏❤️
Prayers up for Beth. May God lead her to clearerest thinking and better treatments. May God bless her with the halt of dementia and the strengthening of her health. Father in Heaven bless Beth and all who know her with the knowledge that sometimes we cannot communicate with one another, but we are never apart from you. You stay beside us when our words don’t come or our memories falter. We are not alone in our hearts - you never abandon us.
Father in Heaven, please advise Beth’s physicians with Your healing insights and optiomal treatments. Draw Beth and all who love her closer to You through this trial, and therefore closer to one another. Thank You for the Blessing of Beth’s life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

Dear MissEdie, thank you for the gift of love that you made and gave to your dear friend, Beth! I pray for you both now, and will keep Beth in my prayers continuing forward.
My own dear sweet best mother in the whole wide world suffered from dementia in her later years. Your post brings back so much. I did not get to be her everyday caregiver, but I managed to be her caregiver once a month for one glorious and difficult week for the last two years of her life. It is a role I am deeply grateful, humbled, and blessed to have.
My lovely sister was her primary caregiver for many years, and when I saw my sister falling apart, I realized I needed to step in as often as I could, from as far away as I was. When I want there in person, I phoned my mom every day during the week. We would watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy “together” over the phone. On the weekends in the Fall we would “watch” football games “together”, too. Needless to say, I miss my Mom so very much, and your post has reminded me of so many things that we shared, among them, the china patterns that we held in common, and birds.
I know your Beth appreciates your loving gift so much! You are a kind soul that has brought much Light to her Darkness! Since my own mother is in Heaven, I am reminded to do this sort of kindness for another. I will do my utmost to share the Light!
God bless you and Beth. I will keep you both in my prayers going forward. Please stay in touch!

Prayers sent up for Beth and all who care about her.
Dear Lord God, In The Name of Your Son, Christ Jesus our Lord and Savior, I ask prayer for Beth, Miss Edie’s wonderful, compassionate, loving friend. Please send Your awesome healing Power through the Power of Your Holy Spirit, and drench Beth within and without with healing, Shalom—nothing broken, nothing missing, and indescribable Peace in her mind. Please heal her brain so that it is new, and reverse and restore it so that she has full function and there is no lack of memory, understanding or wisdom. In her body, her spirit dwells the Spirit of God, which separates her from the genetic and generational plagues of disorder and illness. Dear Lord God, let this thing “come to pass”, and with each passing moment there be Your Presence in the evidence of our faith in You, that You are restoring Beth’s brain to perfection. Everything will return to normal! We praise and thank You, O Most High God, for your Love and Blessing upon Miss Edie and Beth.
I also lift up in prayer this couple, who are having relationship difficulties. Again, we know in You that Your restoration Power exists in this too, as in all things we pray for, for You tell us in Your Word, “I will restore what the moth has eaten.” Jesus, please send other believers into their path, that they may come to accept You as Lord and Savior of their lives, so that they can experience everything You have promised us—joy unspeakable and full of glory!
Thank you, Precious Lord God, that You make a way where we see no way, for nothing is impossible with you, Creator of Heaven and Earth! We praise Your Holy Name, and worship you with a humble and contrite heart. You are Sovereign, and Your Love for us is eternal, so we need not fear or doubt. “Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen”, You have told us. Right now, we know that in Heaven, that our faith in You has produced action there, and in due time will appear on earth, in those we lift up in prayer in all things. Your ways are not our ways, and our thoughts are not Yours, but when we pray Your Word, you promise us that You hear our prayers in obedient faith, believing, you will answer our prayers. O Most High, we praise Your Holy Name! Jesus, we wait in anxious anticipation and praise that You are coming back soon for all who believe on You, that You came to earth and gave Your Life so that all can truly Live a new life. For You are The Way, the Truth and the Life!
We praise Your Holy Name, O Lord God, and we thank You that you have heard our prayers, and we Love You and look forward to the healing that is already in process. AMEN!
Amen
