In “Bridgerton,” the new Shonda Rhimes period drama on Netflix, the lords and ladies of early 19th century Britain are depicted as Black as well as White.
Why? Washington Post television critic Hank Stuever explains it this way: “A Black character stops to explain, grandly, how and why this society came to be integrated. (Answer: because the queen is a person of color.) Not only does it not make much sense, but it seems like an unnecessary wrench thrown into a completely sensible and revisionary romp: People of color are here because they should have been here all along. Isn’t that reason enough?”

In the itty bitty minds of too many being African is the same as being black.
You’re missing the most important issue...
What pronoun did Queen Charlotte want to be recognized by?
Oh, I KNOW you didn’t go there, girlfriend!
Coming to America fantasy of African royalty that never existed.
It is a fictional fantasy fraud. It is Africanization in the crudest terms
If you like the books, don’t go waste your time on the series.
Stunt casting is the least of it.
They should come out with a Biopic of Martin Luther King. Leonardo DiCaprio would be perfect in the lead role.
Just imagine if the Muslim hordes hadn’t obliterated most North Africans along with the classical civilization of North Africa?
The Berbers persisted because they were even tougher than the murdering invaders and lived in lands even Arabs might balk at.
Every BBC shows historic British lords and ladies as being black.
It really is an attempt to erase history.
Get ready: Virtually all cinema, advertising, popular literature, political speech in the “new era” will feature the theme: “All hail globalism”. The propaganda extolling “multiculturalism” was meant to prepare Americans for a globalist future and the destruction of thie nation and heritage. The demented, corrupt Biden is the perfect figurehead for these vile, globalist traitors.
Wonder if she is related to bad Leroy Brown? You know the one who Jim Croce said looks like old King Kong?
1. The family history tracing is very speculative.
2. Even if true, Queen Charlotte’s ‘African Ancestry’ is 500 years remote from when she lived and I rather doubt that genes that remote would still have much impact on her facial features or skin coloration.
3. This is MSN so they deal in this kind of “wishing it were true” reporting.
“What pronoun did Queen Charlotte want to be recognized by?”
Your Highness, I would suppose.
And she and George had 15 children
Blah. Blah. Blah.
We’re all black. We’re all gay. We’re all whatever we’re told to be. Every child is a mutt now, vs. a thoroughbred - except for the children of our ‘betters.’

Wow even the biggest Ford van wouldn’t work for that crew....

Gal Gadot is under attack for playing Cleopatra. Blacks seem to think Cleopatra is now black.
