Some people really hate Country Music.

Last estimate I heard is about 40,000 in the Nashville area.

They're concentrated in one particular area too from what I learned during my visit there over the summer. Pinging some friends in the Nashville area to see what's being reported there.

Spouse told me of this. It looks like something Antifascists (cough Communists cough) would do. Set a bomb off to take notice but not hurt their fellow travelers. Nashville might be Music City but still enough trying to defy the governor in his unconstitutional lockdowns.

And/or it could be that they wanted it to go off later but the handler got spooked and set it off early.

I used to run a commercial production company on 2nd Avenue. That area by Hooters is certainly not the best choice for random terrorism, when busy Music Row is so close by - and at later hours. They’d best clear that city today.

Never been much for country music, probly because I was inundated by my parents as a kid. However I bought a jeep last year and for some reason felt compelled to start listening to it (still can’t figure out the connection) and I quickly realized contemporary country music today is dominated by songs about alcohol....beer, wine, liquor, tequila....you name it they’re singin’ about it.....weird.

I went back to 80s rock.

That being said, my first thought was meth lab; the fact that Nashville police called in haz mat before the vehicle exploded leads me to believe they were probably thinking the same thing. Those things are very unstable. It was cold in Nashville last night; if it was a meth lab and someone got the bright idea to turn on the heat in there....
