According to Nashville PD, the bomb squad (”hazardous devices unit’) was called *before* the explosion. Definitely intentional.

That kind of debris field does make it look like bomb and not a propane tank explosion as some are saying.

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron said police received a report of a suspicious vehicle and upon investigating the report, officers called the hazardous devices unit. When the unit responded to the area, the vehicle exploded.
