Gal Gadot has defended her casting as Cleopatra after she was met with accusations of “whitewashing” the upcoming biopic.
Critics have said that an Arab or African actress should play the role of the iconic Egyptian leader instead of the 35-year-old Israeli actress.
“First of all, if you want to be true to the facts, then Cleopatra was Macedonian,” Gadot told BBC Arabic. “We were looking for a Macedonian actress that could fit Cleopatra. She wasn’t there. And I was very passionate about Cleopatra.”

Cleopatra’s Egypt stretched to the south, and included black Africans. She often wore a wig of kinked black hair. Her hair, her clothes and her jewelry showed her love of all of her subjects. She was a female monarch and used her beauty and fashion as part of her leadership style.
Cleopatra was Greek.

It was one of the most disturbing things I had ever experienced. The level hatred in that classroom, and the preponderance of lies spewing out of the professor's mouth and the mouths of most of the students was appalling.
Whites in the class were constantly singled out for harassment and vile name calling.
I could go on for hours about details of what was taught, but here is a quick synopsis:
- Blacks and "POC" invented everything in human history, including medicine, architecture, music, clothing, furniture, and the arts
- All Whites are racist, but Blacks can never be and are without any type of sin whatsoever (but they don't use the word sin because they don't believe in God)
- The "Egyptians Were Black!" mantra is akin to religious dogma, and the main reason for this is because the cultural achievements of sub-Saharan Africa is so lacking that they need the achievements of ancient Egypt to justify their lie that Blacks built and achieved everything of worth in human history
We were forced to watch this propaganda movie called "Out of Darkness" by a racist American Black man who calls him Amadeus Christ.
It is full of lies and soliloquies by mentally unstable men and women who make up facts in their own minds, and who HATE White people with a passion.
The movie ends with the "message" - that all Blacks are really gods and will inherent the earth once all whites are eliminated or enslaved.
This stuff needs to be filmed, the people sued and run out of town to prevent the upcoming genocide.
No court would rule favorably.
Not one.
The level of indoctrination at colleges and universities today is simply astounding.
Satan did his job very well.
If civilization originated in Africa, it left and has yet to return.
Heck they have blacks playing Brit royals now (deep in the past).
Israelis are Mediterranean people. We look pretty much like everyone else along all the coasts.

So happy that the left is feeding on each other. I have stopped watching Hollywood, or should I say I review first, any woke, race, transgender, gay, or strong women in roles that promote such are scrapped in my book
This is like a recent case with a high school play of The Hunchback of Notre Dame. A white girl played Esmerelda who had been portrayed with darker Gypsy skin by the Disney cartoon. But Esmerelda had been stolen from her French mother by the Gypsies early in the book, so she shouldn’t have looked like them. But the rage mob protested because the actress was white.
