I get a lot of grief here in threads about “bad parents” and there is a lot of talk about removing people’s kids.

My response: not my kids. God gave them to that parent and it’s none of my business. God did not give those children to me or the state. Their welfare is the responsibility of the parents, not me or the state.

But then, I’m not a communist or a collectivist.

I was a kid in a time when it seemed most people were strongly against communism. Seems like that’s changed. Lord, come soon.

If things start happening, there will be a few “crazy” people who “cross the line” and “go too far”. These people “handle this all wrong” and all the submissive people will say “tsk tsk tsk — that’s no way to behave”.

If I see a crazy guy go too far, I’ll cheer and see if I can help.

I do disagree with this part:

The neocons have gone way too far in their intervention in foreign governments.

The issue under discussion is always something sympathetic, something most decent people would like to see fixed: Intergenerational poverty, police brutality, environmental degradation, bigotry, violence. But the solutions modern communists put forward are rarely passive, and they are never liberating. If a problem can be solved by individual action, voluntary charity, by the free market, or by the passage of time, that is never seen as good enough. In fact, nothing that fails to increase the power and control of governments or certain institutions (or to grow the people’s dependence on them) is ever regarded as a solution at all.

She has points worth considering...like the above...

Part of the reason she does not see that nucleus is that the people competent enough to form it don’t usually discuss their plans in public forums or on the internet.
