Rush Limbaugh has warned that the US is 'trending towards secession' because 'there cannot be a peaceful coexistence of two completely different theories of life' in one nation.
The conservative radio host, 69, predicted that some states may soon break away from the rest of the US and declare independence, sparking the same set of circumstances that led to the American Civil War.
His comments come as 18 states have joined Texas in launching Supreme Court legal action to toss out millions of votes in four battleground states in support of Donald Trump.

Secession is giving away our country to China, Korea, Russia, Iran....all of whom would see our secession as WEAKNESS, possibly time to attack.
Enable free travel between the two, at first. Have strict immigration limits on blue citizens moving here. Let Trump negotiate trade deals. They'll bankrupt themselves fairly quickly through Socialism and illegal aliens, becoming a third world country, while Red America prospers. Then the borders will need to be fenced.
It’s ot a matter of who lives under what rules. There are THE rules. We’ve lived by them and expect them to be enforced universally in this country. They pay lip service to them then try to rewrite or destory them under the cover of night, the rest of us be damned, and they’ll use whatever tactics and whichever political rules of conduct to do it. It comes down to this: The Declaration, the Bill of Rights, the Constitution, are for those who respect it. Leftists embody personal, spiritual, and character flaws which are an existential cancer, and no longer should be allowed to enjoy the fruits and sacrifice of those who came before us while metasticizing in our society. A hard, bitter line must be drawn which will upend this Republic for eternity.

They are not Conservatives, they are Republicans or RINOS, but not conservatives. I respect Libertarians because they are honest about what they want. On social issues they are laissez-faire but conservative on economic issues. They are honest about where they stand. GOPe and RINOS are wishy washy moderates and go along to get along types. The claim that I am a Republican therefore automatically I am conservative is a lie. Either you are fooling yourself or trying to fool others.
Compromise is not always a bad thing, except the RAT version of compromise which is do what I say or else. Secession is possible but not likely in the short term. The RATS created the sword we can hoist them on. 2nd Amendment Sanctuary States, 2nd Amendment Autonomous zones, Freedom of Religion Sanctuary cities, counties etc... States will slowly move away from Federal control anyway. Since CWI the Federal government has grown to powerful to the point they are useless. Bring power back to the states. States begin protecting it's citizens from Federal over reach in religion, guns, drugs, lockdown etc....
In the last civil war the South had the superior soldier and a soldier that believed in their cause though it was wrong. Oddly slavery was a secondary issue.
The North had superior abilities in manufacturing in the arms of war. Thus they won. The North had the draft the South did not.
A most miserable war was this. If Lincoln were wise slavery would have ended in a few short years due to mechanization of plantations and the cost benefit ratio of slaves verses free slaves and mechanization.
It was all an avoidable tragedy and both North and South made horrible decisions which ripped out the soul of our nation. Those scars are still plain to see today.
There cannot be peace in a time of war. The war must be fought so there can then be peace.

if the criminal biden and his crime syndicate is illegally installed, i don’t see how there can be anything but secession.
and if it comes to it, it’ll have to be done at all levels (individual, family, county, and states like Texas and hopefully my state Tennessee). as individuals, we’ll essentially have no choice but to strike, like Lech Valensa and Solidarity, which is basically the 2 bit word for the 20 dollar one, secession. hopefully it can stay non-violent, but that’s up to them.

The union is dead. The left can have their urban,university,1% and state capital sh*tholes and call themselves autonomous sh*tholes and we should rip out all American historical property and national landmarks as possible putting them in areas where Americans can value and preserve them.

You are so right! There was no mistaking his being upset at not only media types jumping up and down about something HE never said!! Now he's gonna be even more upset that some conservatives actually believe he would say such a thing when he didn't!!!
It's a shame we can't show him more respect and knock it off... I'm not certain whether his cancer treatment is working or not but I am certain he's not appreciating having words jammed into his mouth that didn't come from him.

OK I will add what I hope is a voice of reason. The United States has determined that succession is illegal: a terrible war and a Supreme Court decision affirmed that.
I was at Trafalgar Square in 2014 at the time of the vote of the Scottish Independence referendum. The London dignitaries and the prime minister pleaded: “Scotland, please don’t leave us!” while Lincoln just stated “Confederacy, you are not permitted to leave us, and if you do you will be killed.” It was quite the contrast.
