Thank you:

I saw this on twitter a few minutes ago. I have been following a guy that goes by the name of Johnheretohelp. He has over 70K followers, and writes some pretty interesting stuff. He appears to have a background and connections to some 3 letter groups. If you search him out on youtube, there are some good clips where he discusses current and past events with what appears to be an insider position.
I have cut and pasted his most recent post. Read it and take away what you want... After following him for a year, I have found him to be pretty credible.

Yes, I know how crass you can be—it ain’t one of your positive attributes. If this is an example of chins Up, please ignore me when I seem to NEED a chins up. Because I guarantee it would be just another dispiriting blow to me. Ha. :>() Remember the famous scene from the screwball comedy Airplane!:

***SCOTUS Denies Texas***
I heard one legal brain say that the case was declined on the basis of standing and therefore the plaintiffs can go back to the district court and file on different grounds. The problem with that - it seems to me - is time!

I heard AG Barr give a speech about this quite some time ago, the judiciary has become MUCH too powerful. Instead of legislative action, people turn to courts, and judges have become bloated and power mad (my words, not Barr’s). The judiciary needs to resume their proper position in the balance of power between the three branches. So maybe in the ultimate issue this ruling will actually help to pave the way for a less bloatedly powerful judiciary. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You're right. This is a very big issue. Not only do we not want it, but SCOTUS cannot afford to get in the business of digging around in every state's election machinery for every national election from now on.
If they are going to get involved, our 5 Justices are going to need a very sharp scalpel.

Just says 45 day deadline, but doesn’t have to take that long!

Texas voters were not directly "harmed" by the bad actions of certain other states; and, SCOTUS is loathe to try and control the states' selections of Electors without damned good reason. The Supremes may have been concerned about the broader problem. Any decision wouldn't just have applied to elections. When you open the door to states complaining about harm being done to them by other states, some blue state will undoubtedly drive a truck through it, probably in the name of climate change.

I think it was to draw them out, to get them to reveal their positions.
Those replies by the 4 states were snowflakeisms.

Very well could be that most of the possible candidates had at least a temporary association with CFR. I read somewhere that The Federalist Society had a large hand in coming up with the list.
And it is part of the process of building a resume that counts for something in the reality of today’s environment.
