Will The nine members of the SCOTUS defend and protect the American Constitution or, will they choose to endorse illegal elections and voting activity, therein destroying the American Republic!!! "Democrat, Joe Biden is not the fairly, duly, legally elected 2020 POTUS...period...and, every American regardless of their political slant knows it!!!

The Texas suit is pretty well structured. For the court to rule against Texas, they’d have to somehow square the circle in explaining how their 7-2 Bush-v-Gore decision was somehow different or wrong.
Regardless of how the court rules, America as we have known it is over. If Trump remains President, anarchists will burn down many major cities. If Biden is instead (s)elected by the court, he’ll do everything he can to enslave the rest of the country.
Roberts is a political hack who fancies himself the modern day manifestation of John Marshall. I am sure he has no problem making absurd and conflicting arguments in a single opinion for something that is important now but won't be studied extensively by historians in 100 years (Obamacare). An opinion on how elections are conducted is a different beast. He wont want to go obviously political in such a signature opinion but he also won't want to follow the law because the law leads to an outcome he doesn't want. So he will be working HARD to convince one other justice to hoin him and the lefties in just pretending this all never came up and punting.

This is going to be in the history books at the level of Dredd Scott. The Court should take care to choose the path which is best for the country.

Yes. It is commonly said that the president isn't really elected by the Voters -- the president is elected by the Electoral College. While this is true, the EC is really a mechanism more than anything else. I believe the core concept is (and always has been) that the president is elected by the STATES.
This year, I hope that is made explicit, with the state representatives doing their duty to We The People.

I think that the SCOTUS is really, really pissed at the dems for their arrogance and careless dis-regard of the Constitution, states rights, and for putting SCOTUS in a corner...Either way this goes, the country is fractured beyond repair.

Could very well be. Almost all of Biden’s appointments are Obama people. Perhaps Joe will be locked up in the White House. Obama calls the shots. Every once in a while Joe’s body double comes out, in mask, to speak. All he has to do is swallow to move his Adams apple. A recording of an AI generated voice, or a speech double, can be played as Joe speaking.
Seems to me, with Hunter Biden on the first page of the media these days...the Democrat Party is getting ready to get rid of Joe Biden...overnight!!! If Hunter goes down and rats on the old man...his father, Joe Biden to save his own skin,...then the Obama legacy is destroyed overnight. The Senior Biden, Joe has to go......IMHO!!! In modern life, we can prevent CW2 by pushing Sanctuaries for conservative values. Liberals already set the precedent with cities and states where cops were punished for cooperating with border patrol. Create Sanctuaries for freedom of speech or more Second Amendment sanctuaries, and arrest liberal fascists who attempt to violate our rights.

The Constitution is not the problem, the people placed in charge of enforcing it is the problem. That said, I will agree with you that the Constitution is largely moot at this point as a practical matter.
The typical case with looks good on paper.
The people are the ultimate power that, through the states, created the confederation and its replacement, the constitution.
The question now is whether the creator or the creation has the power.
