Though the researchers didn’t say how Ivermectin was able to destroy Covid-19, they believe it inhibits Covid-19 replication.
Australian scientists have found that an antiviral drug called ‘Ivermectin’ was able to kill coronavirus grown in cell cultures in less than 48 hours.
Ivermectin is a medication used to treat many types of parasite infestations.
This study comes as researchers and scientists are scouring drugs that can be repurposed or used to treat the novel coronavirus.
The study, published in the journal - Antiviral Research, stated that Ivermectin was able to kill the virus in less than two days.
The study further said that the anti-parasitic drug significantly reduced the viral load in 24 hours.
Ivermectin is an approved anti-parasitic drug known to be effective against a variety of viruses like HIV, influenza, dengue, and Zika.
The researchers cautioned that more testing needs to be done to be sure of the drug’s efficacy against Covid-19.
Even though the drug is considered largely safe, the scientists at the Monash University in Australia who conducted the study, are yet to ascertain the correct dosage and effects to understand its efficacy against SARS-CoV-2.
The researchers believe that instead of finding new ways to treat the infection, scientists should focus on tweaking the existing treatment in order to prevent the infection.
The researchers, however, did not say how Ivermectin was able to destroy Covid-19, but they believe that the drug inhibits Covid-19 replication.
Thanks, hope you feel better.
One other question: Do you routinely take a vitamin D supplement or have had your serum D level measured?
I have a German Shep-maybe I could just double his dose
Mark
Here we mix it with a little tequila and saffron with lime on the side.
I’ve been using ivermectin for treatment since August.
Been taking for six months the following:
1000 mg C
1000 mg D3
500 mg Quercetin
50 mg Zn
I heard about this stuff about 8 months ago. I bought enough to treat dozens of people. Or 3 horses.
Ok, the dosage of D3 would be between 1,000 and 5,000 IU most likely (not mg). 5,000 would be much better than 1,000.
Here is the EVMS protocol using Ivermectin if anyone is interested. It is available for humans in 3mg tablets as Stromectin ( Rx required )
I know nothing about this subject, but my husband, a practicing veterinarian, says the line between a therapeutic and a fatal dose is a fine one.
Basically, the NIH recommendations are to do nothing but monitor the patient until they require oxygen.
Plenty of studies now show Hyroxychloroquine given early helps. Ivermectin helps. NIH in my opinion is either too politicized, too sold out to large pharma, or incompetent.

Correct 1000 Iu, brain fog.
No one else seems to agree with that. Correct me if wrong.
Have seen reports of taking much higher mg/kg without harmful effect.
Almost everyone makes that mistake, brain fog or not!
Apparently some dog breeds are susceptible to toxic effects w/ high dosage.
“Certain types of dogs, including but not limited to collies and Australian shepherds, are also far more susceptible to the toxic effects of the drug”
Anti parasitic. Used to worm livestock. I had Lyme disease. My doc prescribed antibiotics to no avail. Decided what the hell. Took 2 doses a couple of weeks apart. Fine now. Total cost 13.99

I am doing it once a month as a prophylactic.
