It has been difficult trying to process everything occurring in this nation! I'm a nervous wreck. I think I instinctively know that the country is disintegrating & that we are on the verge of a national divorce & eventual civil war. We no longer trust one another. We certainly don't see each other as countrymen any more. I don't things are salvageable. It's bizarre pledging loyalty to this nation, our flag & our entire form of government, but feeling fundamentally at irreconcilable odds with half of her people. What's worst is coming to the realization that many of us, myself included, no longer have faith in our elections, our press, our schools & our national established institutions. Things feel irretrievably broken down. I don't think any of us truly want to believe that our society has become susceptible to electoral cheating, cop killing, big tech companies violating our right to free speech, a propagandized politburo press & a corrupt deep state establishment that votes against our best interests at every turn. We are now in the ultimate clusterfark that could only have capped off a year like 2020. There was likely cheating in the election, we are all suspicious of one another, it doesnt seem like the electoral investigations are going well & we are now actually contemplating having state legislatures throw out elections. I don't know what to think any more. I guess the only way I can see us successfully going forward is by dividing into different nations- a national divorce đ
Right now we still have everything to lose...it’s only when we have everything to gain will this country shift back towards being America again. Sadly peace will only come through violence...it sucks but we will have no other choice. Benjamin Franklin’s rattlesnake analogy comes to mind.
I agree. A civil war is not imminent, even if the sentiments that would give rise to one are present. We don’t have entire states raising armies to fight one another, so a CW1-style conflict is pure fantasy. A Yugoslavia-style one requires a complete collapse of both law enforcement and national military on at least a regional level, and that is nowhere near happening anywhere in the US. Even if we start having Paris-style no-go zones in some of our cities, the National Guard is still strong enough to impose order. To have a Yugosloavia-style conflict arise we would have to see the rise of local “warlords” with the ability to repel NG as well as fight each other.
Don’t get sad, don’t get down ... get mad, get angry, and get prepared.
We all will be facing a choice we would rather not make very soon.
I pray that this country separates, that the southern and midwestern states seriously look at session. There are no more common bonds that hold us together. The states that still honor personal freedoms need to plan to practice a policy of Nullification first, then plan for separation.
Make plans to move to a friendly state (my family has been doing this for a while and will execute the plan in the next 18 months if all goes well).
That’s a quick process.
I guess the actual vote would be preceded by politicians/ activists trying to explain Secession to the public.
Some would justify it, while others would say it would be the worst possible choice for this nation.
Victory goes to the best explainer with the most money behind him.

Not yet.
Yep. Time is not on our side.
Wall Street is happy because there is no mandate. Money does not like uncertainty. A gridlocked government will not accomplish significant change one way or the other, thus creating less uncertainty.
Good Point!
A true and fair Election
Would have shown that We
The People want
Law,Order and FREEDOM!
Right. I agree but the Dems now know how to run the score board up to 80 million. So next time they will run it up even higher!!! They could get a ham sandwich to 85 million. They got the system down now.
The Dems tweaked the knobs on only 6 states and got 80 million. They tweak the knobs on all 50 states and the next presidential winner will have 100+ million votes.
Was there gridlock on Obama’s Iran deal? No. McConnell greased it because that is what GOP donors wanted. Wall Street probably thinks McConnell won’t cave on corporate taxes but they would be wrong about that, too. The Chamber of commerce has a 4 year long to-do list and they will expect results. Gridlock is the last thing that would be happening in the swamp with a Biden Presidency.
America is already living on borrowed time.
I am convinced that Trump will serve a second term NOT because we deserve God’s blessing, but rather because God is using Trump to shape events in the middle east.
If you are not familiar with biblical prophecy (specifically eschatology), you should be aware that the stage is being set very rapidly right now for a 7 year period that you SERIOUSLY don’t want to be any part of!
This whole Global reset thing is all part if it, but the timing is not quite right.... The enemy is pushing for an early start, but God is holding him back.
But when He lets go, you better already be ready... because it will be too late then, and will make what we are going through now seem like heaven.
Being ready means you Know Jesus, and are looking for His return to take us out of Jacob’s trouble before it starts.
I asked my 2 cats what they think of this.
The old one says we’re screwed no matter what we do
The young one says he’s scared, but he knows all the good hiding places
Thanks for the heart felt post, it’s very moving. I empathize with your feelings.
I’ve been wondering myself what an America without the “consent of the governed” looks like.
Keep in mind the spirit of the bayonet....
