Daughter's friend's mom is in ICU with COVID-19. She is not on ventilator, getting oxygen but going to use feeding tube because when she eats, oxygen goes down. She is early 60s...I don't know of any co-morbidities.
She is too late to use Rendesevir...that could have been used 10 days ago...
Anyone know if Zelenko protocol can be used for a late-case but prior to ventilator...
Any other thoughts or suggestions??
AND PRAYERS FOR ANN and HER FAMILY VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!
Why not? Put in her “food”
A lot of Drs on the Texags site if you want to ask there. You have to sign up with a phone number, though.
Your friend should ask about dexamethasone.
It’s a steroid,.
Not sure what you mean...
I am very concerned—I know the woman and want to help if I can.
Thanks RummyChick...I was hoping you might ante in on this.
Here is the summary chart. She is probably at the anti-inflammatory stage where she needs anticoagulants and steroids.
Prayers for Ann and her family!
Also, there was the Dr or intern..cant remember...that used Glutathione to help save his mother.
And of course, what some Drs will call wacky and not believe in it..the Mega Dosing of Vitamin C using the Marik protocol
steroids
Dr. Bartlett of west Texas
ICAM is an acronym that stands for:
“Immunosupport” and includes Vitamin C and zinc to help boost the immune system;
“Corticosteroid,” Methylprednisolone, which can reduce inflammation in the lungs for augmenting breathing;
“Anticoagulant” such as Enoxaparin, a blood thinner that can help stop blood clotting seen in more severe cases of COVID-19;
“Macrolide”, such as Azithromycin, which is often called a “Z-Pac”, and is an antibiotic used to mitigate probability of pneumonia.
In summary, the ICAM protocol is a combination of 1) Vitamin C & zinc, 2) corticosteroid 3) anticoagulant and 4) macrolide. Each treatment was considered and selected for its contribution to a problem associated with COVID-19.
Dr. Chris Martenson on Ivermectin
It's not in the recommended protocols. But it's cheap and supposedly clears the virus in 4 days. Clears the virus in vitro within 24 hours.
He talks about Ivermectin at 12:00 into the video. He talks about Hydrocholoquine at 7:00 minutes into the video. He calls Hydroxylcholoqyine by something else because youtube will censor him if he says the name.
And I hate the title he gave to this video, "use this one weird trick", but Dr. Martenson has had some great information throughout this pandemic. And he's also a little sarcastic at times in this video.
this is a thread talking a little about treatments

Marcus gets the patients that are circling the drain as they say...in other words...BAD
Ping!
"This study aims to evaluate the anti-parasitic medication efficacy "Ivermectin" plus standard care (Azithromycin, vitamin C, Zinc, Lactoferrin & Acetylcystein & prophylactic or therapeutic anticoagulation if D-dimer > 1000) in the treatment of mild/moderate and severely ill cases with COVID 19 infection..."
Conclusion: Addition of Ivermectin to standard care is very effective drug for treatment of COVID-19 patients with significant reduction in mortality compared to Hydroxychloroquine plus standard treatment only. Early use of Ivermectin is very useful for controlling COVID 19 infections; prophylaxis and improving cytokines storm
I mean why couldn’t a mixture of the supplements or drugs be added to her food, or given via IV...you may want to listen to others re:high vit c ...but find a good naturapath...most Dr’s just do drugs.
Arthritis drug cuts COVID-19 deaths in hospitalized patients by two-thirds: study
baricitinib but probably wont get that one. does mention
dexamethasone
My family is instructed to get me Vitamin C by hook or by crook ...meaning...do it...might be hindered if they arent allowed to visit
but I will be taking it with me to the hospital.
That paper I cited is a PREPRINT and does not discuss a Randomized Clinical Trial. It has been criticized because it is an observational paper and because it makes mention of the discredited Surgisphere. So use with caution.
I don’t know...Not sure exactly what state she is in...
Actually a family member is in charge of COVID-19 unit in hospital in which she is staying?!?! Hmmm
Good news just reported tho her oxygen has improved slightly over past 2 day...
Chest X-ray is not good :(
Is she getting loads if vit d3 and Vit C? Family member shd know her d3 level...most covid patient’s are low and need D3 badly. Other nurses here have talked about it.
