It appears to me that Trump is on the way to a crooked loss. Of course it becomes a huge matter for many courts that could take months to resolve. On Jan 20th, 2021 who is the POTUS? It looks to me like in a crisis Pelosi may take over the Executive branch until a clear winner is named.
Ugh. Lets not.
At some point it becomes necessary to cleanse the country or it will not long endure
Let’s not....
No, let’s not assume.
If it keeps on raining, the levee’s going to break.
There is no Constitutional basis for that.................
Not going to happen. Trump will win out right.
By that point a President will have already been elected one way or the other. If neither candidate has a majority of the Electors on the day the Congress meets to tabulate the Electoral College's votes, the House will elect the President and the Senate will elect the Vice President.
I like your enthusiasm but I am worried
Someone gets inaugurated as President.
Let’s assume the sun super nova’s and then nothing matters...
I was thinking about this.
Prefer Pelosi to Harris.
Flame away!
Who is next after Nancy?
“...What happens on Jan 20th, 2021?..”

That depends on what happens on December 14, 2020.
Civil war happens. What do you think? Do you think one half of the country is going to let Crazy Nan take over the Whitehouse? At that point I’ll be out in the street. This election is going to be decided long before Jan 20th.
December 14 is the Election Certification. Won’t somebody have to be decided by then?
In a surreal scenario where bedlam and uncertainty still exists by that EC date, it would not be out of line for the legislatures of the contested states to vote on their own slate of electors to send to the Electoral College vote.
All of the contested states except Nevada have REPUBLICAN legislatures.
As I said last night as this drama began to unfold ... the U.S. is going to get an awesome lesson in civics and constitutional law over the next few weeks.
> Constitutional basis
The ultimate answer is the SC.
They will have two choices: trigger limited war with good guys controlling govt hardware, or trigger a much worse war with bad guys controlling it.
Possibly. It’s been wargamed, and there are plenty of other possibilities, though.
Last time (only time) this happened, 1876, the R’s and D’s got together and compromised. Before they did, though, there were some troop movements.
The standing army is not a factor, it is too little to matter.
