As a teacher I say the children need to get back in school. The parents are getting burned out and the children are missing out on so much. Like Trump said the cure can’t be than the problem. The private schools are going back and doing fine.

I interpret it as Newsome saying that he is too inept to make public school safe but competent administrators in private schools have no problem with doing it.
Lynden Christian School in Lynden, WA, opened on time in September. Masks are not mandatory in Lynden, though social distancing is still practiced. The school has had zero Covid problems since opening and now other the public school districts are taking notice and sending representatives to Lynden to see for themselves. The whole at,o sphere in Lynden is different without the masks. The Lynden public school is still mostly closed, though.

The political elites all send their kids to private schools. Expensive ones.
Two of my grandchildren go to private school in CA. The 11 year old is in the classroom face to face. The 17 year old has all of his classes outdoors...weather permitting.
Gov. Newsome couldn’t care less about or for “the little guy.”. “ Let them eat cake!” Disgusting.
