DECATUR, TN (WSMV) - Two people are dead after a school bus crash on Highway 58 in Meigs County near the Bradley County line, Tennessee Highway Patrol said. ennessee Highway Patrol said a school bus collided with a utility service vehicle at 7751 State Highway 58.
There were children on the bus at the time of the crash........ The Tennessee Highway Patrol said they would release more information about the crash.
This appears to be a bad crash, and news is filtering in about it as I write. They are asking for blood donations some where near by, so you know it is a bad crash.

Looks like Meigs County on the map. Not too far from I-75. Looks to be between Chattanooga and Knoxville if memory serves re I-75.
We’re about 30 miles from there. Sounds like a bad one, for sure.
RATs will say that if the kids weren’t in school, this wouldn’t have happened, and it’s you-kno-who’s fault.
Weather related? It’s crappy from Tx to Canada today.
did they have seat belts on?....they would never make elderly ride around in buses with out seat belts.....

Meigs. It’s about 10 miles or less from me. I’m in the Riceville/Lamontvile area about 10 minutes from Decatur.
