But we should be looking at the number of cases. It appears that the virus is mutating to be more contagious but less deadly.
More counts more cases. No counts, no cases.

Daily Deaths are not spiking like Daily Cases.
There’s a lag between case surges and death surges, I think it’s about 2 weeks... hopefully longer than that!
Cases have been going up since September but deaths have plateaued since then.
Cases began going up on September 13th. That's forty days ago.

I am saying that the data is meaningless and intentionally misleading and always has been.
Both the numbers and the lack of context are intended to induce fear.
Is there something to be smart and cautious about? Of course, just like it's wise to be cautious when you drive. But there is nothing to be emotionally afraid of.
The numbers are not designed to help people make wise decisions for their own condition. The numbers are designed as propaganda, not as a public service to help Americans make the best decisions possible, and to balance those decisions with the reality that you don't stop driving just because a lot of people die on the highway.
That is what I mean. The numbers themselves are on steroids and are in part made of air, and then they are presented to induce fear, not to communicate the truth.
They are both dishonest as statistics, and dishonestly presented by both lies of commission and omission.
I could say this in 40 different ways.
I realize you are merely posting figures and not changing them, so you are just passing on a lie. If you were to say 'well! here is the latest propaganda which is based on a seed of truth', then I wouldn't have responded with a note using very very very many very's just before the word 'dishonest.'
I mean you no ill will nor attribute any ill intent, I am merely characterizing what you have posted, I have no opinion on the intentions of the posts. My guess would be you believe them to map to reality. They might in certain ways, but it is a deliberately misleading map even if the map is in certain ways mappable to reality. Certainly even if it is mappable, it is not a clear reflection.
