“Did they have one for Detroit?”

In defense of Detroit, they have a great Police Chief who refused to allow riots and destructive behavior. He appeared on Tucker Carlson several times during the worst of the riots and he declared that while peaceful protests were fine, Detroit would not tolerate rioting and looting.

Would’ve been a LOT more punchy and funny by leaving the captions and having the poster graphics done with actual photographs of riots, looting, statue toppling, arson. THAT would make the point rather than these clean and antiseptic looking things tha
t look just like (crappy) travel posters that could’ve been composed on a computer by a basic design program. For the BBee, this is a huge disappointment.

I could not disagree more. These are beautiful parodies of vintage travel posters. What you are describing is just photographs.

Everyone has seen photos of these cities during the rioting/burning/looting/pooping etc. This is a very clever idea, appreciated by the more intelligent population I suppose. :)

An alternate poster for LA, Disney’s Cinderella Castle with a sign saying “Closed, check with us next year”. No year specified so it can be reused indefinitely! Universal can also use it, it is generic!

Question, can you rent/buy Wuhan costumes for Hollyween?

Yeah...I just recent watched a depressing video about Venice Beach and how it has been overrun with addicts, homeless, and mentally ill people.

Sad.

These travel posters are done in a retro style. I read an article about old travel posters for the national parks that were done it this style. I believe it’s from the 30s.

This is similar to art deco.

Thanks Jane. I wanted to post the posters, but I couldn’t get the images in a separate window to copy the URL.

How did you do it?

Power blackout following brainiac Newsom’s abandonment of fossil fuels! This one is my favorite!
