Following are some of text messages my Floridian friend got:
* Hi [×××] We're fighting for a country that works for everyone, not just those at the top. Can we count on you to remind three friends to vote for Biden? Reply STOP to opt-out.
--Rich, a MoveOn volunteer
* Hi [×××], it's Rachael with FL Dems. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris can't do it alone. We need to elect a Democratic team that will have their backs! Can we count on you to vote early for Joe, Kamala and local Florida Democrats?
* Hi, this is Bruce w/ Poder Latinx. Early voting in ... County begins on Oct. 19. Do you plan to vote by mail, early vote, or on Election Day?
And?
Yep that is part of a campaign’s job. Get out the vote and
all do it in some form or the other.
I got one from who texted me by name, asking me to support a dem mom and former vet who was running. They wanted to know if my number was a good way to reach me.
I love yanking their chains.
I said it was a great number to reach me as long as they were looking for someone to vote for a candidate who supported the 2nd A, pro-life, against illegal aliens, pro- deportation, pro small government, anti-BLM. Given that the candidate was against everything I believe in, I would be happy, as a female, veteran supporting, voter, to vote for her candidate.
She replied that my name would be removed from their list immediately. Made me smile
Vote against her candidate that is
And here - Hello, my name is ... a volunteer with field tea, six, on a mission to end COVID-19 with science by registering democrats to vote...
Didnt respond to my question on how that science works...
Surprised they texted again after another one from field team six didnt respond to my question whether field team six was like Seal Team Six And if they had secret missions and night vision goggles...
Their targeting is way off...
How do your friends get these texts? Are they leftist?
My friend was Danielle with SEIU. No idea who that is. Wanted to make known how I should vote on Amendment 3 in Missouri.
What you should done is to tell them that you are scared, so terrified, so frightened by the ‘rona that you don’t know if you can go out and vote this year and that you have heard that the Republicans laced D’s mail-in vote ballots (if you got one—if it’s a thing in your state) with the ‘rona, so you put it on a shelf in the garage (using gloves) and are afraid to touch it.
This way they will have to waste time calling you over and over trying to cajole you to get over your fear. Also, you will end up in their statistics of people afraid to vote due to the ‘rona and they will have to think of ways to lessen the fear.
Brilliant!
First one I ever received and it was out of the blue. Also received SS scam calls recently too.
I get these same texts for someone named “John”.
This continues despite my blocking the number listed.
It’s like texts and voice messages for my imminent arrest for various reasons.
A lot of noise, looking for a response.
For democrats the answer is "yes" to all the above. Especially for those who are in a cemetery.
Nah, they'll just mail in a ballot for you.
I was texted by an acquaintance who sent me a gif of a dog defecating on a Trump sign.
I resisted temptation to respond, and merely blocked his number.
No great loss.
“SEIU. No idea who that is.”
The horrid union entrenched in city government where I worked. I am proud that I went a bit undercover and told people how to escape as a member. All it took was telling people that SEIU is one of the largest donors to Democrats.
My reply was,” I only vote for people that don’t text me”.
I text back a picture of aborted children and tell them that Ill tell all my friends, pictures above.
