Blacks generally have a hard time understanding freedom from government coercion. These days, they aren’t alone.
Tribal pressure. Just like Jews vote democrat even though it’s against their interest.
Along with that, we can also ask:
Why do people take drugs?
Why do people major in worthless studies?
Why did people buy Yugos?
Why do people watch CNN?
Why do people believe journalists?
I’m thinkin’ because they are way too many fries short of a happy meal.

It is a carry over trait from slave era. Slaves got paid nothing for work, so they developed a habit of doing as little as possible. Descendants of slaves prefer checks for doing nothing. Democrats are more generous to people who do not work.

The Left always says it wants to have an honest conversation about race. Of course, what THEY mean is that they want to yell at white people and insult them.
If we REALLY talked about race and slavery, it would get pretty deep.
Some slaves were afraid to be freed — Massa always fed them and gave them housing. They were valuable property and Massa actually tried to take care of them to some degree. Who would take care of them if they were freed?
Look at the inner city underclass today. They are given food, housing, health care. Massa is still taking care of these people.
Freedom is hard and not everyone wants it. If a political party says it will take care of your every need, some people will find that attractive.
The definitive answer:
The same reason over 75% of black children are born into fatherless homes. Democrats and government in place of the man in the family.
Ask them how that fits with their so-called Christian philosophy. Jesus said “render unto Caesar that which is Cesar’s.” He did not say “replace the father in your family with Caesar.”
Maybe it’s partly where they live? I think 70% of black people live in urban areas. Do blacks that live in urban areas vote differently than blacks that live in rural areas? I’ve wondered the same thing about Jews.

Blacks have more groups, societies, clubs, fraternities, sororities, as they are more group than individual...thus, ‘permission ‘ to think differently can get you ostracized, including pressure in families...do you see white family reunions? Not as much as black ones...that is an anecdote. Hope my points are clear.
I have lived it as the only white in the room for 26 yes with my black wife...upper class blacks. I talk sparingly, ask for wisdom beforehand. CnN, MSNBC, NPR are gospel.

Many black Christians are black, first and foremost, and Christians second.
Whites who are white first and foremost are mostly not Christian.
It’s a very well laid out piece. From listening to Fischer and Skye Jethani, they are both virulently anti-Trump, that colors my view of this a little bit. I loved Veggie Tales, and I love Jethani’s “With” book.
It’s not either or——it’s why do SOME white Christians vote for the R and SOME Black Christians vote for the D——because they’re believing a twisted theology that government helps the poor and rights all wrongs. Twisting scripture to make it sound Biblical that Democrats are following God’s providence. However, Democrats denouncing God, supporting abortion and infringing on freedom should wake up every Christian to the truth that Democrats are Anti-Christian.

Because it has been proven for nearly every Presidential election in America that the number one issue for voters is who they think will put more money in their pocket. It ain’t globull warming or gun control or trade with China.
Because LBJ laid the groundwork to destroy their families. Slave owners sold the fathers; modern democrats bribed the mothers to never let them into their homes in the first place. The democrats provide for them, give them attention periodically, etc as a poor substitute for a father.. The only things missing are hope, guidance, and tools to be achieve their best version of themselves because that wouldn’t serve the party’s purpose.
I had lots of time yesterday at the Sanford Trump rally to think about this. There were loads of black, Hispanic, Asian, gays and even one group of “French for Trump” represented. The thing that I noticed about the groups of African Americans was that it was either males groups together or family groups with a mother, father and children. I didn’t see female groups or single mothers and kids. It baffles me as to why the democrats are so keen on abortion for this group seeing how stubbornly loyal they are.
Bigger Issue for the guy in this video, Why don’t the VeggieTales ever explain the gospel? The cross? Bible stories that never get to Jesus. What a wasted enterprise.
In eternity, elections will not be remembered, but Jesus will be.
