I had the bright idea of going to the library on Sunday to get a few books. BAD IDEA.
I walk in and there is this woman sitting at a plastic fold out table. Granted I have the damn mask on but it is not over my nose.
I am walking past the table and this bit*& says, PUT YOUR MASK OVER YOUR NOSE SIR! SIR OVER THE NOSE! I gave her the dirtiest look and walk away.
This is the second time this has happened to me. At a local taco place another witch motioned with her hand for me to put the mask over my nose.
I have lost so much respect for people during this covid crap. Lot of their inner tyrant has come out and try to shame me for no reason.

Have you ever considered you are the Karen because you are too good to pull a mask over your nose? Stupid? check. selfish? check? Karen, yup.
At first I tried reason.... didn’t work... then I tried humor... didn’t work... then I tried political arguments... didn’t work..... I’m too old and too cranky for this shit... Now I flip them off without saying a word....
“”Wear your mask properly. The woman did not make the law, but is tasked to enforce it. If you cant be arsed to pull your mask up half an inch to cover your nose, then you should just not wear a mask at all and stay home.””
You are EXACTLY what a Karen is. It’s none of your business.
We shop at Walmart occasionally and never wear masks. We also thank others for not wearing masks. Usual response is a smile or chuckle.
Because the Captain says so.
I do not and will not wear a mask. If that offends your delicate sensibilities so be it. And I already survived the kung flu.
My point is she could have been polite about it and i would have no problem with it. She was just down right nasty.
Well, the OP posted the anecdote on a public forum, thereby inviting comment. I commented—deal with it.
I don’t care if you wear a mask or not, unless you come into my business without wearing one as the law requires.
Man...are you way off! There is no law about the wearing of masks. Its all mental! What a fool you are. You win the neighborhood truck loader “It’s for your own good” award for today.
Spoken like a true free thinker.

The CDC know masks are worthless based on the CDC’s own statistical data.

Can you tell me what the store is?
I’m in Washington County. I would like to patron them.
You’re not in California, are you?
Masks fog my glasses and I don't like wearing one. So there. You can stay home and order Amazon.
California,Pennsylvania?
I am a woman and also wear the mask under my nose. I got three admonishments from mask nazis at two different stores this weekend. I put the mask over my nose for one second and immediately pulled it down afterward.
I have a newborn at home so I don’t have the emotional or mental energy to get in a fight with an idiot at whole foods. This is one of the reasons we need men to fight for us, so we can pour all of our psychic energy to raise decent children. I’m sorry so many women don’t understand this need and have damaged relationships with men. That being said, please consider that women biologically have different priorities and defining and defending territory is not in our DNA. Tending to babies and children is, which is no weak task.
All that being said, I’m going back to the less ‘protective’ and goofy looking face shield after this. I just can’t tolerate not breathing and these freaking terrible people.
I personally think everything should be reopened, sans masks, with exceptions for particularly vulnerable populations. However, as a business owner, I must comply with local law, which states at the moment that masks are required. I’m sympathetic to the lady who told the OP that he must wear his mask properly—she didn’t write the mask order, she’s just compelled by the government to follow it.
I swear, sometimes I think the average poster on this site is an octogenarian shut-in who has never run a business.
