It was someone who had used one of those flimsy paper toilet seat protectors and we were in the Dominican Republic so it was a bit humid and it stuck to the back of her legs. She walked by me and laid face down on a chaise so the world could see the paper stuck to her.
I’m rather embarrassed now as the moment has long passed but we had a good laugh about it at the time and the post about toilet seat protectors awhile back threw me back to that event.
The extended slides are inevitable when Q gets quiet. I worry so much about the children being used by the DS monsters that maintaining a sense of humour helps to relieve the stress from feeling helpless to stop it.

But Kyle Field (Texas A&M vs. Florida--great game)--was rockin' ... the "12th man" (aka loud A&M fans) definitely made a difference according to the Florida coach after the game. (A&M won.) And the team came out on the field and locked arms and rocked back and forth with the exuberant student body and Corps of Cadets ... NOT A THOUGHT IN THE WORLD ABOUT you know what (from China).
Alabama and Ole Miss played another great game tonight ... and ALMOST NOBODY in the stands in Oxford MS wore a mask! (Tide won, but it was a great offensive game on both sides ... lots to cheer about!)
Sorry if I'm just a cheerleader, but THIS IS THE REAL AMERICA. I'm sure there were MANY OTHER GREAT examples today ... these were just the two games I happened to watch.
Anyway, I found that I was truly moved by the REAL AMERICA finally starting to assert itself again ... led by our great President of course, but also college football is helping to lead the nation out of the misery so desperately advocated by the Pity Party.
