Danny Glover, Democratic lawmakers say 'we can't wait' longer for slavery reparations
"The time for reparations is now," former Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer said during a discussion with Glover.
Actor and activist Danny Glover and former 2020 Democratic presidential candidate Tom Steyer joined Democratic lawmakers to call for the passage of a bill to set up a federal slavery reparations committee, emphasizing that "we can't wait" any longer for reparations.
"We can't wait," Steyer said during a virtual discussion held as part of the Congressional Black Caucus Foundation's annual legislative conference. "This is the moment. The time for reparations is now. We must confront and deal with our history together and repair it as best we can together, if we're ever to move on together."

Reparation was paid in full in blood lost during the American Civil War. No further payment is due especially when you consider that there is no former slave or slave owner alive in the US today.
The closest we have is Kamala Harris who’s grandmother was a slave owner.

How about a 20% TAX on ALL Admission Prices to ANY Entertainment Venue and a 30% Assessment on the Incomes, Tips, Wags and ASSETS of ALL Entertainment Performers, Creators,Producers,Directors,... to PAY REPARATIONS to Blacks enslaved by DEMOCRATS!!!

I’ve yet to see any proposed metrics, methods, criteria, etc, on how reparations would be distributed. But nevertheless, I read a comment somewhere awhile back that stated we should do reparations as those granted payments would turn around and spend it. All this money pumped into the economy would be very stimulative, create growth, etc. So, I say let’s do it. Get it done and over with.
