ABC News chief White House correspondent Jonathan Karl expressed his concern about how the general public views the press during the Trump era.
"I do believe that unfortunately, there is a big chunk of the country that believes that the press is now the resistance and I think it's really unfortunate and I think that it has negative consequences for a free press. I think it has negative consequences for our democracy," Karl told Mediaite on Thursday. "But I think that the aggressive questioning of the president, particularly now in the wake of what we've seen unfold with the pandemic is absolutely necessary. Not only justified but necessary.
He went on to walk back the harsh criticism of his CNN counterpart Jim Acosta, who he slammed in his memoir for undermining the "credibility" of the White House press corps with his "speeches" that painted the press as "the resistance."
"The events that have played out since those early days of the Trump White House have in some ways vindicated Jim Acosta," Karl said.

“I’m not part of the resistance,” Karl elaborated. “I’m not his political opponent. I don’t want people to see me in there and think I’m just out to get him. "

Jonathan Carl is a jerk. He is always dumb as a box of rocks, and asking snide and stupid questions.
For example, A man gave a presentation on how powerful sunlight was in destroying the virus, as well as several products such as bleach.
POTUS said something along the lines of if there was only a way to use this to figure out how to clean it out of the body.(Important to know-there is a light therapy that has been successful fight respiratory illnesses).
But POTUS was not as clear in his speaking and so it was not clear to the bumble pots what he was saying. So Karl thinks a minute and says well would you ever do that: inject bleach or Lysol? The man said no that’s not something we would look at. POTUS immediate interrupted and said no there would not be any injections.
From there some nut on twitter stated that POTUS advised to drink bleach and inject disinfectant. All because dumb slob Karl apparently never heard that sunshine is the best disinfectant. To him that meant bleach or Lysol.
And I guess dummy Karl also doesn’t know about the advances that have been made using light therapy inside the body either.
To this day I have people claiming that POTUS said to drink bleach and mainline disinfectant. It did not happen.
And it’s all because that Jonathan Karl, dude was so stupid. and the press dishonest enough to report it that way.
The words drink bleach were never spoken. And POTUS said, no it would not be injected in answer to Karl’s dumb question.
The press are a big part of the problem. They have decided not to report facts or truths, but to report things the way they want them to be to achieve their ends or at least their puppet master’s wishes.
All resistance, all the time. When the Clintons are no longer operative , I believe much of this will stop.

Look in the mirror Mr Karl without closing your eyes and ears. Softball to one side and hardball to the other is revealing. Voting patterns in your ‘profession’ that point to living on the plantation is also revelatory. An immediate adoption of specific criticism created by one party’s “central committee” without question or counter gives that impression as well!
