Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is committing at least $100 million to help Joe Bidens presidential campaign in the crucial battleground state of Florida.
Bloombergs late-stage infusion of cash reflects Democrats concerns about the tight race in a state that is a priority for President Donald Trump. A victory for Biden in Florida, the largest of the perennial battleground states, would significantly complicate Trumps path to reaching the 270 Electoral College votes needed to secure a second term.
Republicans, however, feel confident in their chances in the state, pointing to GOP wins in 2018 and stronger-than-expected turnout in 2016 as evidence the state is trending in their direction. Theyve invested millions in Florida focused on Latino outreach and boosting their field operation, and the states size and diversity makes campaigns there expensive.
The billionaire Bloomberg launched his own campaign for the Democratic nomination late last year amid worries about Bidens strengths. Despite spending $1 billion on his campaign, Bloomberg struggled and dropped out in March, quickly endorsing Biden.

Boy I’m sorry but that’s a ridiculous statement based on nothing. I think we will win but to categorize it like you do is absurd
That’s a lot of “walking around money”—as Dems call it.
So Bloomberg has now turned against the police and supports the riots?
Illegal campaign donation. Like the Atlantic hit piece.

Bloomberg may be a really wealthy individual, But when it gets right down to it, I do not think he is especially bright.
Mighty big spend in a state where Biden is supposed to be up by a gazillion points. Maybe Biden can lock down the dementia vote, which is considerable in Florida.
Translation: Biden doing poorly in Florida
He is very smart in book knowledge and business. And he was a pretty good mayor of New York. He is just not good at reading the rest of the country especially the red and purple states.
Kind of like Giuliani, running NYC is a lot different than running the US.
I posted many times while he was NYC mayor that this little self-important turd was bad news. Now he’s trying to bring about his “my way or the highway” nanny status for the entire nation by promoting this senile meat puppet for the radical left to animate any way they want. Drop dead, Bloombutt! You’ve already brought about your share of suffering to NYC residents.
This prick Bloomberg is on a par with Soros.
imho, a 3 percent lead for PDJT won’t win Florida for him
there has to be at least a 10 point DNC election fraud margin already ready to roll out when it comes to the illegal D votes, the multiple D votes, the trashing of R votes, D ballot harvesting, D busing to the polls, the “counting” of the votes, etc
When I was a candidate for public office (County Commissioner) back in the day, there was a $2500 limit I could receive from any one donor to my campaign.
The details of all this are lengthy, but I typed in "Limits Donations Presidential Candidates" on my search engine...and all the unhappy details are there.
The upshot of my search?.....yes, successful campaigns for candidates of all parties today can be bought by zillionaires through the use of "Super-Pacs".

“Does it matter? Trump demonstrated in 2016 that he can win despite being outspent.”
Unlike 2016, 95% of his media attention is very negative, as are the Biden ads — which are outright lies. There has to be a counterattack of equal magnitude and tone this time around.
I think he is an Uber elitist. It’s just that he lives in a New York bubble, instead of a Washington DC Bubble. I might even go so far as to say that his understanding of politics is actually sub-average.
My state senator here in northern Virgina, Jeremy McPike, owes everything to Michael Bloomberg; Bloomberg invested at least $2,000,000 in his race (the 29th VA senate district, which encompasses about 200,000 people).
McPike is a total non-entity; just a garden variety Marxist zombie. However, the Bloomberg money swamped Manassas Mayor Hal Parrish.
Sounds the same as 2016 to me.
Thanks. ( Im still afraid of the soroznazi DNC election theft operation since its so large and well funded. ). We will see
