I was possibly exposed to COVID 19 over the weekend and was surprised to see this on the CDC Website:
A couple of things: 1. Exposed means being closer than 6 feet to a KNOWN or suspected COVID carrier for at least 15 minutes. In that criteria isn't met then the CDC doesn't consider it exposure to COVID 19.
But note the note:
"Note: This is irrespective of whether the person with COVID-19 or the contact was wearing a mask or whether the contact was wearing respiratory personal protective equipment (PPE)"
In other words WEARING mask doesn't matter. If you meet that criteria you were exposed whether you were both wearing masks, or whether one was wearing a mask or whether nobody was wearing a mask.
Masks don't matter to the CDC.
I cannot brag any longer than the stores in my south shore area on Staten Island no longer have no “masks required” signs on their door.
They do.
They just don’t enforce them.
But I Guess that’s next.

That’s because masks are nothing more than Virtue Signaling. No mask, not even N95 masks have any effect whatsoever with viruses.
N95 masks were developed to minimize (not eliminate) bacterial infections. Bacteria are orders of magnitude larger than the largest virus.
As many Epidemiologists have said, wearing a mask to stop a virus is like putting a canopy made from chainlink fencing over your property to keep mosquitoes away.
The only thing that “matters” are the politics involved. More and more of us are figuring that out all the time.
Any doctor who said that was wrong, as multiple studies show that masks inhibit transmission of this coronavirus and mitigate its effects. No, wearing a mask is not pleasant—but, it’s effective.
Everybody with any sort of clue knows this
That being said out here in Northern California , all of the Karens wear masks all the time !!!!!it is completely hilarious to watch

In the middle of the woods
Walking the dog on a trail
Sitting in the car

Wrong.
There are DECADES of studies over the years done well before the Wuhan Flu became a political football that studied masks wrt influenza viruses and cold viruses.
EVERY SINGLE ONE arrived at the same conclusion. That masks are totally ineffective in any mitigation of viral contamination.
In fact, many studies indicated that masks are detrimental to the wearer. Why? Because they increase the viral load.
What is Viral Load? I’ll let you do some research on your own on that subject. I’ll not convince you by spoon feeding you data.
They damn sure matter to Kay Ivy and Walmart.
It is going on a week since the CDC admitted that they lied and Alabama courtesy of Kay Ivy is still locked down tighter than Dick’s hat band.

If you were writing public advice, what would you say? That, as long as whomever you’re with had a mask on, you’re fine? Or, would you say, if you’re around someone who’s infected, you are at risk?
You are scared. Scared and sad. You have accepted a lie and are perpetrating the lie. Masks are a tremendous health risk, but they do give a false sense of security to the stupid. I am not stupid.

What about the people who wear the mask under their nose? They must think that their nose is not connected to their mouth or lungs!
