1. Today the Drudge Report has destroyed what little credibility and decency it had left, which wasnt much.— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) August 24, 2020
2. Its headlining & and promoting the secret taping of a family member by a family member seeking to enrich herself further by exploiting her relationship with the president is bad enough.— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) August 24, 2020
3. But the second headliner involves exploiting the Conways 15 year old daughter, who which is sleazy even by tabloid standards. Come out of the shadows, Matt, and subject yourself to public scrutiny rather than hide in your self-created obscurity.https://t.co/01q9n9xaYA— Mark R. Levin (@marklevinshow) August 24, 2020

Drudge is into dollars and fecal matter. Nothing sane about him.
If he hadnt defacto-supported Hillary after it was clear that Trump was the nominee, I would think differently of him, at least in regard to talking about credibility.
I dont think just because it was clear that Trump was the nominee of the Republican Party, Donald Trump deserved our undying loyalty. He earned that by making the right promises and KEEPING them. And that is when Mark Levin came back from the dark side.
If Levin was back and forth about it, or said one thing and did another, like a Lindsey Graham, then Id agree with you.
But he hasnt flip flopped one bit. He just saw Trump in action, changed his mind, and climbed aboard the Trump Train. He has been a rock solid supporter of the President ever since.
I know lots of people who voted for Hillary Clinton in 2016, and now they are voting for President Trump. Should I shun them for being wrong before, or admire them for having the strength and courage to change their hearts and speak out about it.
Because it does take strength and courage to admit see you were wrong and change your heart.
He already did years ago. Sorry you missed it.
I went back and forth on Trump during the campaign, at first, I thought he was just running as a publicity stunt.
“I dont think just because it was clear that Trump was the nominee of the Republican Party, Donald Trump deserved our undying loyalty.”
Well, how did YOU want the 2016 election to end?
Since I don’t follow Levin, I don’t know either way.
But STILL, an apology is INSUFFICIENT to me. If a person murdered my wife, I’d still want the needle, I might mellow out my words a tiny bit if there was an apology, but I would still want lights out for him.
Maybe that makes me different than some people here - If so, sorry, that’s who I am.
Oh yeah, Matt's a West Hollywood freakazoid.
The problem with people like Levin is that you can never be sure if he jumped onto the Trump train because he started to believe in him or because he saw his entire income stream drying up. All I can say for sure is that he’s smarter than Bill Kristol. Hannity still calls him the great one but Hannity also supports the architect. Either way I pay very little attention to Levin any more.
Many times Mark has admitted he was very wrong about Trump, and he’s very thankful to him for being one of our most conservative presidents in history. He didn’t think that was even possible early on and either did I. Neither did most of us.
After 20+ years, a few months ago I replaced Drudge with Citizen Free Press as my home page. Drudge is unfortunately no longer filling the gaps left by the legacy media.
Of course I agree. Levin, and for that matter, Cruz, could have done what Rush did in 2008, when it was McCain vs. Obama. Rush HATED McCain, but he still (correctly) knew that Obama was FAR WORSE, for the future of the country.
Rush’s answer: ATTACK OBAMA, ignore McCain.
McCain still lost, but that had NOTHING to do with Rush. If Levin and, for that matter, Cruz, could have taken a SINGLE LESSON from 2008, it would have to do just that, and had they done that, I wouldn’t keep reminding people of the men who nearly (and still may have) stolen the country from my kids.
...or perhaps the DIFFERENCE was that Hillary LOSING was far more important to me than who won - be it Trump, Cruz, or even Kasich, or Linda.
Maybe, I guess, other people don’t think that way.
Drudge just spends his days and nights in a drug coma, about the way Brian Wilson of the Beachboys spent the 70s and 80s.
Drudge’s gay Miami beach “pool boys” have his passwords and run the shop.
Think of Howard Hughes and the Mormon Mafia. That’s Drudge. In a coma.
Add Johah Goldberg to the list. If it wasn’t for his mother Lucianne being part of the blue dress exposee, JG would be “unknown blogger number 534,678.”
True. If not for Lucianne and the blue dress, Jonah would be just another big fat ahole.
I found Free Republic on Drudge in ‘99. It was called Whitewater at that time. Charter member, twice kicked out.
That’s right, the link to FR from Drudge was called Whitewater. The only reason I ever looked at Drudge was that Rush mentioned him as the guy who broke the Lewinsky story. I had only had my first PC for a few months at that time.
Ditto with Glenn Beck. The Blaze is awesome since the merger and has a pro Trump flavor. Just have to roll with the changes which happen from time to time such as hosts leaving or format changes and some content moving to YouTube and becoming Free.
Rush didn’t ignore McCain. I frankly was surprise how harsh he was considering all that was on the line with Obama. He did heap a lot of praise on Palin. But he savaged McCain at almost every turn.
Not as much during the campaign. The only thing that I remember was an event where there was a local DJ who said something like “We must defeat Barak HUSSAIN! Obama, and here he is JOHN MCCAIN”. Then McCain comes out and says something like “I don’t support the language used used by xxx in attacking my opponent, we must defeat all people, including our opponents with the proper respect”.
Rush showed that and simply said something like “I just want you guys to know what’s going on”.
But I do agree, before 2008, Rush DEMOLISHED McCain, which was well-deserved on McCain’s part. Thankfully he’s dead now.
