I've never posted in my brief history on this site
We bought extra ammo just in case they come and threaten my home and family!
Did that back in 2008. 2020, I have more ammo than I will say. Plus I have the means of making more. You missed my point.
Good for you. They are eventually coming. Get that thought in your head.
I have a tactical spork. Does that count?
I understand what you are saying, but statutes are just homilies at you or your loved ones funeral.
Oh, I agree. All the fancy legal talk goes right out the window when it comes down to brass tacks. Still, as long as some semblance to the rule of law still obtains in your area, it’s handy to knmow.
Definitely needs repeating in times of trouble and turmoil :
" Reacquaint yourself with your states statutes wrt (with) justifiable homicide ",.. and self-defense.
Awareness Condition Yellow. Both semis, the AR, and the defense pump are at Condition 2. The revolvers are loaded. As for the old Mosin and the duck gun, well, I’ll just grab them by the barrels and beat the tar out of someone.
Take the training seriously.
Explain “lock and Load”?
When it should be;
Load Then Lock.
Yeah. If you can find one.
“I just bought my first gun last week-end, and had my first gun lesson yesterday.”
That’s a good thing to do, but I have a question.
Your join date is in 1998. You’ve been here all those years, and were never moved to buy a gun until now?
EVERY month is Lock and Load month for Americans.
Locked and loaded means locking the magazine or cartridge into the gun and loading the ammunition into the guns chamber.
“Tropic Thunder”
Confused me.
I’ve watched it a 100 times
Guess I went “Full Retard!”
.
Thanks!
Cocked and Locked: With a 1911 you have the .45 magazine loaded with a round chambered and the hammer cocked fully back and gun holstered with side safety locked up in the safe position. Pull from the holster and the thumb simultaneously lowers the side safety lock. This is what makes the redundant grip safety on the Colt .45 allow for cocked and locked.
Garand thumb is
something I look forward
too.;)
1911 is my Favorite,who
needs to hit’em at 910fps?
Nothing for the Thompson??
Thanks,I need some range
Time!!!
I had been living in Massachusetts for the the past 47 years. Ijust moved to Tennessee six weeks ago and only recently got a Tennessee driver’s license which is a requirement for buying a gun here.
I’m doing some upgrades to some of my weapons that I have been procrastinating on for some time.
High performance extractor spring, high performance buffer spring ambidextrous magazine ejector, ambidextrous charging handle for the AR. Finally getting around to putting a sling on the pump shotgun.
I am replacing all the polymer followers in my Kahr CW9 with much better Lakeline metal followers. This should eliminate a couple of issues that Kahr magazines are prone to. What’s really ironic is that Kahr sells upgraded metal followers for their own magazines to fix these issues that they know their polymer followers are prone to having. So the question is why don’t they just put the metal followers in the magazines in the first place? They charge enough for the damn magazines.
Even funnier is that if you go to Kahr you can’t get the metal ones, they’re out of stock. But you can get the Lakeline with no problem. So guess which ones I ordered?
