Pennsylvanias Health Secretary made a secret deal to allow a car show to open for a multi-day event although it would violate the states coronavirus gathering restrictions, WPXI reported.
Dr. Rachel Levine made the confidential settlement agreement with the Carlisle Car Show, a huge, outdoor event near Harrisburg that let 20,000 people in per day despite the state-wide 250 person outdoor gathering limit, documents reviewed by WPXI showed.
The secret agreement showed that Levine reportedly allowed the car show to take place for four days. Lawmakers around the state say they had no idea of such agreement, and that it was unfair to the rest of the state that obeyed the restrictions, often at great financial loss.
Butler County, located in the western part of the state, canceled multiple fairs, shows and carnivals that usually attract significant economic activity for the area in order to comply with the states health safety guidelines. Republican State Rep. Marci Mustello said her district suffered from these cancellations, and taxpayers deserve an explanation for why an event near the states capital was exempt from these rules.

Not just a freak show but an entitled, corrupt freak show.
How much money did he/she/it get with the deal? I’m betting hormone therapy can be expensive.
You got to ask, who filled Levine’s ass to get that approved.
I know Rachel, (yeah, I watched Friends), and you Sir are no Rachel.
My Niece teaches Fourth Grade. She has to wear one of those upside down Face Masks in the Classroom. She looks like she is on an old Star Trek TV Show.
Im not surprised that Dr. Levine is corrupt. But I am surprised that WPXI did some old-fashioned investigative journalism. And of a Democrat, no less.
The AACA swap meet, scheduled for the first weekend in October, was canceled. Its in Hershey every year.
The boy likes cars, especially with 6 on the floor.
Carlisle Productions sued the living shite out of em and the jackasses caved.
I attended the Chrysler one in July....just like have for the last 30 years.
It was the lowest attendance I’ve ever seen. 20%-25% of the attendees usually come from Canada, but with the border closed no one could attend from there.
It was off, then on, then off, then on for awhile and that also put a crimp in the attendance.
My PA friends call this jackass heshitit pronounced “He-Shit-It). He’s a dead-beat dad that cut off his own junk when the docs decided not to do so because of his mental condition. THAT is who’s making the calls for Wolf. The clown belongs in a mental institution, not in state govt.
The car show did what everyone in the state should be doing: they said they were going to have their show and dared Dr. Levine to try to stop them. The “confidential” agreement (which isn’t apparently even a legitimate document) was a face saving measure by Dr. Levine to claim s/he still had some measure of control over them.
I hope that this story is the thing that finally gets Gov Wolf to axe his thoroughly incompetent, thoroughly tyrannical health Secretary. It probably won’t, but I can dream.
“How much money did he/she/it get with the deal? “
That was my first thought!
Been reading Peter Schweitzer’s book “Profiles In Corruption”. Corruption is so prolific that I feel that I should be taken notes.
What The Fyouseekay?
THIS is why TRUMP voters are stoked.
She doesn’t HAVE to, but she does.
Is there any hope?
Despite having 20,000 people win the state says only 250 is safe, I have yet to hear of a single report of this show causing a massive spread of coronavirus. This just goes to show you these restrictions are not about your health but about controlling you and making you miserable .
Not just a Dem but a tranny.
Researchers have identified a ‘halo effect’ involving individuals claiming to be or transgender in which the normal rough and tumble of life is suspended in terms of kid glove treatment from others. For the mentally weak, insecure, etc it’s hard to resist.
It’s an It. Or a thing.
This thing likes to be driven up the Hershey Highway.
