Newsweek backtracked from their article earlier in the week where it claimed that Senator Kamala Harris doesn’t qualify to be Vice President of the United States. Unfortunately for Harris, there is still no evidence her parents were US citizens when she was born.

A theory kicking around on internet yesterday was that DNC knows she is not eligible but is proceeding as if she were. Then, if they win, pulling Joe out because of dementia, suddenly discovering Kamala is not eligible and then, proclaiming Pelosi as president. I have not seen it today.

I don’t agree with the idea Biden will be replaced during the campaign either. If he wins, the ‘medical problem’ will strike shortly after he is sworn in.
Dems destroying their own cities and the economy tells us they know how bad off they are in this election. Harris was a flop in the primaries and her only purpose is to take the glare off Biden’s old white racist skin.
Stop focusing on Harris. It doesn’t matter what WE think about eligibility. She was born in the US. That is going to settle it.

Not a hill to die on. Given the way Roberts has screwed the Constitution to favor Obola, it’s a sure bet he’d do it for Harris, too. The only we’re going to get a favorable ruling on the anchor baby issue is for PDJT to be reelected, issue an XO that adopts the dual jurisdiction concept to exclude anchor babies, have an originalist replace RBG, and take the issue to SCOTUS then.

No matter how folks want to interpret the Constitution, the Supreme Court would never disqualify a person that was born on US soil.

Her parents were NOT citizens at her birth. But the way MOST Americans read ‘Natural Born Citizen’ only requires anyone to be born in the USA to be eligible to run for President. So, it is open to anchor and tourism babies these days.
Our Founding Fathers would be appalled. They addressed the situation by writing ‘anyone born with an allegiance (via immigrant parents) to any other country is not eligible to be President’. So Kamala had allegiances to Jamaica and India, by her parents. But hey, she’s a Dem so nothing will be done about it.
That is a reasonable assumption, but it is far from certain. She is an anchor baby, she was born in the United States. OK, in Oakland, California, but that's close enough. She became a United States citizen upon birth and has never had to apply for citizenship. We have two classes of citizens, those who are citizens at birth, and those who become citizens through the naturalization process. For her to be inelibible, she would have to be part of a third class of citizen, a citizen at birth, but somehow not a Natural Born Citizen for purposes of eligibility for the Office of President and Vice President.
That would have to be determined by the Supreme Court, and in my opinion, they will never agree to take such a case. This issue will never be resolved, except at the ballot box.
