Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-Queens) thinks the NYPD union endorsement of President Trump is inappropriate.
“NYPD union endorsed Trump. I’m sure this is part of their neighborhood outreach plan,” she said. “Also, does anyone else see a potential problem with police unions - enforcement arms of the state with lethal weapons - promoting ‘preferred’ candidates for office or is that just me?”
In his announcement Friday, union boss Pat Lynch acknowledged it was almost unheard of for the PBA to endorse for President of the United States, but said current circumstances required it.
“I have 36 years on this job … I cannot remember when we have ever endorsed for the office of President of the United States until now,” Lynch said to cheers from his ranks. “That’s how important this is, Mr. President, we’re fighting for our lives out there. We don’t want this to spread to the rest of the country. We need your strong voice across the country.”

I think she tried launching a venture after college but it did not succeed. Bar tending was paying the rent until the next thing came along.

Have you seen what certain members of a protected class do every night: they go into the suburbs and steal cars and what’s in them so we can’t go to work to earn money that the government steals and gives to that protected class that is so “poor.” (Sniff, sniff.)
I believe there is a former NYPD member who is running AGAINST AOC in her district, but unfortunately it is as a Republican, and the registration is kind of stacked against him. John Cummings is his name. But his war chest is only a small fraction of the $10 million or so that AOC has at her disposal.
Even losing 27,000 well-paying jobs when she managed to force Amazon to relocate elsewhere did little to tarnish her image with the voters of her district.
Not going to lie, all this Covid, shelter in place, wear a mask, kids can’t play stuff hasn’t made for the best 2020 for most but it would all be worth it if Trump wins re-election while winning NY.
Why doesn't she have any problem with the teachers union that represents those who are supposed to give our children a neutral education endorsing Slow Joe?.............................I know, I know it's silly to ask rhetorical questions.

First time I’ve heard of liberals/socialists throwing unions under the bus.
Cortez is seriously suggesting that unions don’t have a right to endorse candidates? Perhaps she should sponsor a bill to that effect in the House. And see what happens.
My god I cannot imagine living in one of these sh*tholes where anarchy reigns and police are a shell.
This is certain to give the cops pause......
