Presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden leads President Trump by 10 points in a new national poll released Tuesday.
The latest Monmouth University survey finds Biden at 51 percent support, compared to Trump at 41 percent. Four percent of voters are undecided, while 2 percent support Libertarian Jo Jorgensen, 1 percent back Green Party candidate Howie Hawkins and 1 percent support other candidates.
The race is slightly tighter than the same poll found in late June, when Biden held a 52 to 39 percent lead. However, the 3-point shift in Trump’s favor is within the margin of error. The former vice president has led by 9 points or more since May.
“Trump has stopped his slide in the poll, but Biden maintains a lead among all registered voters nationally,” said Monmouth pollster Patrick Murray.
The Trump campaign says it does not pay attention to national polls and has questioned surveys of registered voters, saying they are not indicative of the likely electorate. Analysts say Trump can lose the national popular vote by about 4 points and still win the Electoral College.

There will be a few more showing Joey Fingers with a big lead because they have been stunned by his failing campaign’s THIRTY EIGHT POINT ENTHUSIASM GAP (Democracy Institute released last week).
And the Harrisx and Rasmussen polls that, with the MOE could actually have Trump leading by .14 in the Harrisx and one point in the Rasmussen survey.
That a garbage poll like this would come out was as sure as day follows night.
There will be more of these and that will tell you Biden’s money is drying up. Trump volunteers are knocking on ONE MILLION door a week and the children running Biden’s disaster think door knocking is not as good as phone calls and texts so they are NOT doing door knocking.
This is a lie. They are not knocking on doors because of the lack of enthusiasm which means they don’t have the volunteers. The colleges staying closed means they won’t be getting volunteers either.
Freepers will be sure to be rending their clothing and howling in despair.
All will turn out well however.

The Monmouth poll had Clinton up by 6 just before the election in 2016. . Pay no attention to this fake news poll.

These polls measure national voters, so to compare to 2016:
Hillary: 48.2%
Trump: 46.1%
Not that it matters, as that 2% difference was from the 20%+ swings in Dem states. What mattered were the 1-2% margins for Trump in swing states.
