There is an easy way to get Joe Biden out of his basement and in front of the national press or, better, to have an early debate with Trump....

President Trump can simply rent out a facility that is within walking distance of Biden's basement, announce that he will be doing a no-conditions press conference, invite Biden to participate in the press conference (or do a press conference before/after POTUS's press conference), and take a 30 minute helicopter ride to Wilmington, Delaware. By so doing, Trump will bring the entire national press corps to Wilmington, DE blocks away from Biden's basement. Biden will have a choice: duck and cover, or come out of the basement. If Biden refuses to come out, rinse and repeat until he does. If Biden hides, the "dementia" talk will increase. If Biden goes in front of the press....Discuss. PS to President Trump: This is what General Grant and General Patton would do.

Once Biden is the official nominee, this will work itself out for the sane side of the aisle. I think if the Democrats had their way they would want to announce him as their candidate the day before the general election.
This is not lost on the THINKING democrats. And yes, they are out there. :)
