Dr. Anthony Fauci threw an abysmal first pitch to kick off the historic 2020 Major League Baseball season. But fans of the renowned disease expert clearly don't mind.
A Topps baseball card with a masked Fauci mid-pitch just became the bestselling card in the history of ToppsNow, the company's collection of limited-edition cards. ToppsNow cards are available for only 24 hours on the Topps site. More than 51,500 Faucis were sold when the card hit the site last week, the company said Monday.

He outdid Obama with that pitch.
I didn’t think that was possible.
Where’s the one of him kneeling during the National Anthem?
Will Fauci and Topps be donating the money or will they be making $514k off of the plandemic?
Nothing like having a piece of history with an encapsulated ego of one of the key players of the largest fraud ever perpetuated on the world.
The financial damage this Deep State Communist has done will take years to quantify.
The Scarf Lady or Fauci....who’s rookie card will fetch more!? (Vote early and often Sammy!!!!)
An Anthony Fauci card’s not fit to wipe your butt with.
MLB has really stunk up the game, and they should have left the Fauch out of it too. They should have just left it alone and came back next year with all the real rules intact.
MLB’s run by a bunch of money grubbing idiots.
I’ve always thought of him as more of a catcher.
Fauci’s card is a fitting memorial to a sport that is now dead to me. The card screams FAIL.
For an 80 year old guy he threw it pretty far before it hit the ground.
The guy couldn’t hit the side of a barn. I’m going to pass.
No shortage of knuckle-dragging jock sniffers in this country...even if the jock has only been worn once.
One game. One invisible batter. One wild pitch. Batter steals first base. He runs all around for one run since nobody saw the invisible batter. One earned run. No inning pitched. Pauci was pulled by the coach. ERA infinite. Season over for him.
Back to his other job that he doesn't do any better at that, either.
I bet they had to search through a lot of frames to find a shot that shows the least dorkiest look.....
We have to all be in a Twilight Zone episode.
This cannot be the country we grew up in.
