I just quit using Firefox today.
They added a new blurb at the bottom of a blank Firefox page.
It said: "We have a lot of work to do to dismantle systemic racism. One way to start is by listening to Black writers and thought leaders."
Then it had a link to "resources".
https://blog.getpocket.com/2020/07/what-were-reading-the-fight-for-racial-equity-justice-and-black-lives/?utm_source=desktop-snippet&utm_medium=snippet&utm_campaign=pocket-q3-2020&utm_term=23824&utm_content=REL
Of course none of the "resources" were black writers we know who disagree with the ideology and premises of "Black Lives Matter" and the Marxists backing them.
For now I will use Brave.
>>I am giving up one of the few real loves in my life. The NFL.<<
Me too,
And it just as painful as leaving a woman you love b/c she has cheated on you in front of your face.
It hurt a few years ago and I came back when they stopped. Now it is forever.
And I have been a huge fan since 1969 and used to LIVE for NFL season — even exhibition season!
Now — no way but with a broken heart.
baseball and basketball were no big deal to me so letting them go is nothing.
I looked on the bottom of a new tab page.
Couldnt find anything like that.
Although it did label me a racist.
As to Brave, I hear they are under pressure
to change their name. Something like paleface
might work nowadays.
Thanks for the heads-up... Had not noticed that crap...
Wow you could have written that text about me (and probably a number of other guys)
I too went back last season.
But they couldn’t STFU.
And they kept talking and talking and talking...
Until it was impossible to watch them.
If equality is so important. then going by population., 2 players AT MOST should be black on the starting team.
There should be about 8 black players on each team altogether
So Larry Elder and Thomas Sowell don’t count?
Waterfox does not do that!!!
Blank page , I turn that off in the Options , Home ,Firefox Home Content , that’s why I didn’t see it
Seen that garbage also, just ignored it.
Firefox was alway a weak-assed browser that had issues with my computer. I stopped trying it years ago. Also it came from the open source craze paraded by lefties in silicon valley. Screw’em.
I had waffles for breakfast.
I use Apple computers, so I use Safari. They added nothing to their browser. I also use Bing for my homepage because I get points toward rewards that I can use to get gift cards. Bing had added a blip under their search box about supporting the end of racism. I hadn’t noticed it was gone until I checked while responding to your thread. Yep...it’s gone. I like Bing because they celebrate all holidays, like Veteran’s Day, Christmas, and others. Never saw any homepages honoring muslim religious days, and that’s fine with me. I have Firefox on my laptop, but I rarely use it. I mostly use it if I’m having trouble accessing a site on Safari, then I’ll try to access the same site on Firefox to make sure it’s a problem with the actual site, and not Safari. I don’t like Firefox because it’s slow, and I don’t trust its security.
Your real love is the NFL. You need to branch out, buddy.
Duck duck go does not track you and does not have all that marxist crap
I don’t click on that stuff and I ignore it.
Same here. Am using it now for iPhone 8 plus. Have never seen anything like that.
No on mac firefox - you might have caught something
They have free and paid versions. Based in Switzerland. Very strict privacy laws and no logging. Requires zero personal information to sign up. Servers all around the world, including USA. I use the free version. Just can’t use my account on my phone and computer at the same time, that’s a limitation of a free account. I suppose I could signup for two different accounts to get around that, but it hasn’t been an issue. I also use ProtonMail. Come to think of it, the VPN may require a email account to signup, but ProtonMail doesn’t require any personal info to get an account. Same Swiss rules apply, with encrypted emails to/from other ProtonMail users or you can provide a key to non-proton mail users if you want to send an encrypted email to them. Obviously you can send clear text email as well.
I saw it this morning when I got in as well.
I don’t see it on my Firefox, thank goodness.
