A Pasco County, Florida man who believes he was targeted after posting pictures of his gun collection online shot three men who broke into his home early Friday morning, killing two and injuring a third. Pasco County Sheriff Chris Nocco told reporters Friday afternoon that the victim was awake and alone in his home playing video games when he heard the sound of glass breaking coming from the rear of the home.
Grabbing his firearm, the homeowner went to check out the noise. As he was walking down a narrow hallway towards the rear of the home, he spotted an intruder armed with a gun of his own.

The question now becomes, who doesn’t own a gun!
It might help to occasionally clean and lubricate moving parts? At least cock the gun a few times every month. And remove all bullets from the magazine and reload them.
Wow, what a picture find! Way to go, Dave.
That might be it too. Would be interesting to see if there’s any follow up info on why the gun jammed. It’s also a good example of why limits on magazine size can harm self-defense ability.
And what can we learn from this class?
That is right, never post pictures of your collections on line.
Did the intruders have their BLM T-shirts on?
I don’t even post my boat wrecks.
Ive had a glock jam on me, it can happen. Clearing jams is a good drill to practice, tap and rack. Clearing a jam is faster than grabbing another gun unless that gun is on you. I dont carry a backup gun at home, but this story is a good reminder to carry all the time or have one close.
That is right, never post pictures of your collections on line.
It's called hunting over bait, kinda like shooting a deer, and watching over it waiting for the bear.
Hunting over bait is not legal in PA, but our castle doctrine protects home owners:)
Hunting over a bated field.
I’m in Wesley Chapel now visiting my grand kids/family. Very nice area with booming growth. By chance we spent the afternoon cleaning weapons.
“..after posting pictures of his gun collection online ...”
Stupid thing to do in the first place.
But ... at least he got two of the thugs.
Thats OK, well get together a policy and go bust them out! After all, if there is no law, there is no law.
AMEN!
The original says "every time he leaves home," not "every time he robs a store."
That photo is a well known photoshop hoax.
See #75.
I would never post pictures online or even take pictures on my phone. There, I fixed it.
Publicizing your wealth may stoke your ego but cost more than you expect.
Don’t forget the carpet cleaning.
You're welcome. Now if we could just get rid of that stupid fake Time Magazine cover, "How to Survive the Coming Ice Age". It shows a seal on snow.
I don't like conservative fake news any more than I like leftist fake news.
