The spread of aids is highly dependent on a culture of promiscuity and particularly promiscuity among “gay” men.
If there is a proportionate difference in the rate if aids between ethnic groups within the “gay” community, the most likely difference ought to be found in the rate of promiscuity among different ethnic groups in the gay community, and not in “racism” among anyone in the “gay” community or the medical community.
To the extent that is the likely truth it is not “racist” to say so. Its just factual and an artifact of cultural differences between ethnic groups in the “gay” community.
One of those differences is that many black men who are “gay” have had a harder time - proportionately - “coming out” to family and friends, particularly if their parents are religious and many of their associations come from their church community.
Such black men will lead two separate lives, one with a woman - wife or girlfriend - and another with sexual encounters with men with whom they do not want a permanent emotional relationship - that would risk the other half of their life. In such a life, where the “gay” aspect never escapes promiscuity, the spread of aids is likely to be greater.
I am not making the case here that there is not promiscuity among “white” “gay” men. Certainly there is, though the fact that there is does not mean it is universal.
However, if there are differences in the rate of aids between different ethnic groups with the “gay” community, my only point is to took for cultural differences between ethnic groups from which different rates of promiscuity are obtained, that’s all.
Maybe, but the biggest help would be for males with AIDS to keep their dongs out of other male's butts.

Homosexual acts should have remained illegal everywhere. Homosexuals should be discriminated against. Being homosexual should ruin a life.

You assume that being HIV+ is a death sentence. Have there been studies of the progression of the disease without treatment? Do we even know if what is thrown into the list of symptoms are attributable to the virus?
Just like Covid 19, all things that happen medically to a person that is HIV+ are attributed to the virus. Pnuemonia, TB, cancer, blood clots, strokes, sepsis and more are said to be the result of HIV and CV-19.
The history of the disease before treatment was available shows it to be a death sentence. It always opened the door to something. Even with treatment all they do now is prolong the inevitable and the underlying pathology will still inevitably open the door to something.
Why don’t we just automatically add the “BARF” alert to any article from The Atlantic?

And those of us who were working in the hospitals and clinics in the early 80’s are shocked at the lockdowns, etc., done ‘for the people’ recently. AIDS was a 100% death sentence back then and early on, no one knew for sure how it was transmitted. We did know it was mainly in the Gay Community, but those who were thinking straight knew it would crossover into the Heterosexual community too, due to bisexuals, etc. All we did was gown, mask and glove and went ahead and processed the specimens from those who had the HIV diagnosis.

The poofters and Left practically jumped at every innocent who got AIDS just to crow that it wasn’t a gay disease (as they did early on with that poor kid who got it through a blood transfusion), yet it has still most often kept to homosexuals and drug users in this country.

Yes and we know that now. But trust me, in the medical community no one knew for certain how it transmitted, when it surfaced in the early 80’s. Just saying that it was 100% fatal (as the earlier deaths probably had had the disease for a couple of years at least).
The medical community traced it to ‘patient zero’, a gay French flight attendant who likely brought it back from Europe, in the mid-70’s. I only remember his last name was Dugasc, or something like that.
Yeah, that guy was one evil bastard. Supposedly had the attitude that if he was going to die why should others live.
Really good looking before he was ravaged by AIDS, but no conscience at all. Yes, I read that he tried to ‘hook-up’ with as many guys as possible. Appalling.
