Study Reveals That Easily Offended People Are Less Productive, Bad Employees

A study conducted by a Professor at San Diego State University has discovered that people who are easily offended make terrible employees because they never get anything done.

The study, conducted by Dr. Jeremy Berneth, involved asking almost 400 employees, aged 25.9 on average, across seven US colleges about different events that have recently gotten “substantial media attention”.

The study notes that the events consisted of “17 items developed to assess the proclivity to be offended, eight moral outrage items, 11 microagression items and nine political correctness items.”

It noted that some people have a high “proclivity to be offended” (PTBO), which the study describes as “a state-like tendency to be sensitive to customarily innocuous societal events and traditions,” for example “playing of the United States’ National Anthem.”

Those with a high PTBO have a “tendency to view an array of events and/or traditions as offensive.”

They also “are likely to feel that social events or traditions to which they take offense also violate moral or equitable standards,” the study notes.

Basically, they’re easily triggered by anything.

And a pain in the ass to work with. Like walking on eggshells, or in today’s world, a minefield.

Lots, and i mean LOTS of processor time devoted into observing if they can go fake nutterbutters offended...

Naturally cuts down on the amount of work they can do.

People who have time to feel oppressed by place names and statues are NOT oppressed at all.

They had to do a study to find that out? Those that are easily offended are malcontents, plain and simple, and that attitude plays a part of every aspect of their lives. They are happy with nothing, have no self-respect, and always blame their problems on somebody else.

Every day before we went to work the bosses would tell everyone various offenses we committed the day before. Problem is “we” didn’t commit these offensive.
It was several people and especially one guy who was the problem.
He slept on the job! And everyone knew it. Everyone, including the guy, had to know who they were talking about. But for some unknown reason, as far as i could tell, they never directly confronted that individual.
It was the main reason i quit. That and the other fellow who worked with me missed about every other day.

employers and HR: check them out thoroughly

Get rid of HR. They the easiest to offend, quite unproductive, and are unable to do any real work in a business.

Basically, they are easily triggered by anything, spend all of their time looking for things to trigger them, and spend their time to invent new ways to be offended and triggered.

Yawn... Another study that wasted someone's money just to make the amazing discovery of something that, if you are as old as I am, you had learned by the end of first grade...That was before WWII had even started for the U.S.

Unfortunately, since the 1970's, that kind of thought has been squeezed out of the brains of the serfs by the government communist indoctrination asylums...
