The NFL will reportedly play “Lift Ev’ry Voice And Sing,” which is also known as the black national anthem, before every Week 1 NFL game in the 2020 season, according to ESPN.
The decision to play the song comes following the death of Minneapolis man George Floyd, which led to nationwide protests over racial inequality and police brutality.
According to the ESPN report, the song will be played before “The Star-Spangled Banner.”

I just read a biography on poetry.com of the writer of the song and found him to be quite inspiring. James Weldon Johnson lived from 1871 to 1938 and believed that hard work and self-reliance could lead to a good life, despite the injustices in segregated America. He accomplished a great deal in his life.

Segregation was wrong in the 60s, but it’s ok now?
A University of Texas player is refusing to play football unless .5% of the revenue is donated to BLM, statues are removed, songs are changed, buildings renamed, etc. etc.
What does the school do? The University of Missouri fired the campus president after the football team did a similar “strike’ there.
If they boot the kid, the coach and administrators will be met with protests and fired. If they cave, fans and ticket paying customers will exit.
Politics is the only religion leftists have. Sports were male-dominated, competitive, uniting events that were especially popular in the south. Leftists have to destroy everything, so sports were next on the list. Convert the players and get the fans to hate the sport and that’ll kill it off.
Of course, leftists will blame lower viewership on anything but their own stupidity or say losing hundreds of millions was just a small price to pay.
Leftists are going to kill all sports. College and professional. That’s coming. It’ll just get worse. Then they’ll move on to the next thing to destroy. It’s how they operate.

You are correct. Not watching is our greatest weapon. If you have Tivo, or cable, or satellite, they will know you watched and add you to their totals. Still, we need a “No Watch NFL” movement to get everyone to join in and make a difference.

Of the two wings of the Civil Rights movement in the 60s the militant side lead by Farrakhan and X gained the ascendency over the non-violent side lead by MLK.

WTF is a black national anthem? Sick of this crap now. Any Democrat voter is an enemy of America and no better than ISIS.
Miss black America, black bike week, black anthem, black entertainment channel etc etc etc. then we are told we should come together. How the hell do we come together when blacks have their own things, and excludes whites and hispanics.
